People saying they are just a random person always seem a bit suspicious to me...

They come right after people saying you can trust them.

And like drunk people saying they are your best friend right before they start crying and tell their miserable life story.
Go away I don't won't hear your.

Milton Gault roared, "Roffey, I know bloody well that Jerry knows we are here but you don't need to advertise the fact!"

It was not until September, 1944 that the vehicle first began to appear in the European Theater of Operations. About 1,400 M36s were produced during the war. The need for 90 mm gunned tank destroyers was so urgent that, during October-December 1944, 187 conversions of standard Medium Tank M4A3 hulls were produced by Grand Blanc Arsenal. These vehicles, designated M36B1, were rushed to the European Theatre of Operations and used in combat alongside standard M36's. The M36 was well liked by its crews[citation needed], being one of the few armored fighting vehicles available to US forces that could take out heavy German tanks from a distance.

Armament consisted of a new open topped turret armed with a 75 mm M2 howitzer, later a 75 mm M3 howitzer, which were reworks of the M1A1 pack howitzer. It carried 46 rounds of 75 mm ammunition; types of ammunition carried were Smoke M89 and H.E. (High Explosive) M48. It featured no coaxial or hull mounted Browning M1919A4 .30-06 machine guns as featured on standard Light Tank M5s. The only other armament was Browning M2HB .50 cal machine gun for local area, and anti-aircraft defense; 400 rounds of .50 cal were stowed onboard for the M2HB.

[edit] Production
The T47 was ordered into production as the 75 mm Howitzer Motor Carriage M8 in April 1942. Production ran from September 1942, to January 1944. A total of 1,778 vehicles were produced.

[edit] Combat service
It saw action in the Italian Campaign, the Western Front, and in the Pacific Theater of Operations during the war. It was used by the French Union and State of Vietnam during the First Indochina War. It was largely replaced by the adaption of the Medium Tank M4 to use the 105 mm howitz

Thanks, but:

"On the other hand, we have qualified historical researchers, so suggesting vehicles like the Sherman tank and Panzer IV is also pointless."

+5 rep for joining my cult of the two sexiest WW2 planes, P-38 and P-39. ;D

Alas, we may have to switch to sacrificing virgins instead of chickens, because our incantations have yet failed to materialize into news updates "Lightnings in the Sky" and "Rise of the Cobra".

Suggesting obvious things is pointless. Suggesting something witty, fresh and new is not.

Chido312, errm.. have you played FH1?

Now if you can see what Fh1 achieved.. I think, its the most wide-covering mod of BF42 and perhaps the widest covering WW2 game, period! Now IF you have seen that and know what it has... I will, errm, yes... SHUT THE FUCK UP about recommending the 'FH-obvious'

Now the devs are doing all they can with their day job and coming up with not only what we all hope to be a revisit to the scope of FH1, but with better quality in models and graphics... and soon perhaps, sound than every single mod for BF2 (INCLUDING 'that' vanilla) as well as PR, so I really would look for something 'witty, fresh and new' to say. Your post count says you are newbie, try not to act like one... you join the 'indian' tribe, you sit quite and learn the culture, lest the natives scalp you at night.

You will find the Hellcat on Operation Cobra ;)
AALLLL-right

Those pantha kitties better be warned. A new Cat is in town

Yes, the german pilots will be really happy to do a few simple MG strafing runs on the open topped M18. I predict we will see it sit stationary in a field with former driver trying to get to it often ^^
Sometimes, in the field it was modified with a few sheets of iron on top , just like the M10
