Argetan, one of the best CMP maps. Very intense urban combat with armored battles occuring on the outskirts of the city, while infantry fight bloody battles inside the city. US troops use flamethrowers to clear Germans, while SS armor broke through into the city and encircles two US squads. US tanks make a counter-attack, which means the battles continue raging on inside the city.

Half of these maps aren't even in CMP, but probably from fht mod or even other mods.
Although i lol'd at some of the spellings on the other maps :).
Personally i think tarawa is probably amongst the better, even though balance can be rough.

I voted for Orscholtz. Imo it's the most 'complete' map with some fun gameplay. Although I think the push should be changed.
St Mere Eglise is also very 'complete' but the gameplay can turn into a circle cap at times.
Tarawa is true to the FH1 original which makes it a good map imo. :) But it lacks proper assets.
Sidi Muftah could be fun with some tweaks too

I voted for Orscholz Switch, it is definately my favorite CMP map and I'm always glad when it comes up on the server. It has a cool terrain and good-looking, detailed flags. I seem to remember that it played better in past iterations, though - the current push code is weird, as @MattBaker mentioned. IMO it would play better if the Bunker and Observation Post were two flags in a sector, and the rest of the map was conquest (Op. Cobra style).
I also like Brecourt Manor quite a bit, but the rounds there usually devolve into a cap-run-cap cycle. A couple of flags less wouldn't hurt. Tarawa, Sidi Muftah and Salerno are also among my favorites (although I don't think the latter is included in the current CMP version :-\).

For me, it was a really hard choice between Tarawa and Orscholz Switch. I choose Tarawa since it hit me right in the FH1 nostalgia feels. Other than that, it is a really good FH2 map. For me, it has a perfect balance between realism, scale and good gameplay. Unfortunately, I can't say that obout maps like Midway and some other Pacific maps, and vBF1942 maps remakes just make me cringe everytime I see them.
Raid at Cabanatuan is nice and definitely worth mentioning, it has original gameplay, even though it looks a little bit boring at first and battle can get a bit too chaotic for my taste. There is a room for improvement, but the overall idea behind this map is very good. I also like that map with Brits fighting against the Japanese army in Burma. Chinese statics give it a tad too strong vBF2 feel, and lack of the british equipment proper for the Asian theatre (NA player models for example) are a little immersion killer for me, but since there's a lot of bolt action rifles around it is still quite fun too play.
Some Italian maps are fun too, but I don't even remember last time I played any of them on the server. The rest of the CMP is just 'meh', with a few expections. The problem with current CMP is it's massive but often maps aren't very original, poorly designed or simply not polished enough to make me feel like they are worth my attention. I wish that CMP team focused on polishing the most prominent maps from the beginning and not value quantity over the quality like they did. Still hoping that any of the maps I haven't seen so far will be a nice surprise.

I was ,aking a choice between Arschloch Switch and Sidi Mumfasa and I chose the latter. Since that one became a conquest map it plays out very nicely and even though I hate the dead ends and the long walls around flagzones, I always have fun playing that map.
Switch is good too, as are some of the Pacific maps.

I have seen Metz on the cmp test server. Hope too see it public soon :)
