A new jet will have to be bought eventually anyway whether it is a F-35 or another. Heck we spend 4 billion a year on dictators to keep oppressing their own people. If you want to cut spending start there.
No, of course not: there is absolutely no necessity to buy a new aircraft. We are a teeny tiny country which longs for some international respect and therefore we spend needed Euros for much unneeded military toys. We have to stop that. And of course we have to stop spending money on dictators too, but that was quite a rhetoric remark.
Teen tiny country? Or the 15th largest economy of the world? It always surprises me how many people are members of the broken rifle club in the Netherlands.

Maybe they now finally decide not to buy those overprized and never-to-be-finished JSFs. That would solve a great deal of our economical problems.
You're joking right? It solves nothing. The whole project will cost about 15 billion euros but that is for 30 years of use. A new jet will have to be bought eventually anyway whether it is a F-35 or another. Heck we spend 4 billion a year on dictators to keep oppressing their own people. So what did you guys think? Thought it was hit and miss this episode. I'm not going to compare it to the books just comment on the scenes as is. Joffrey abusing whores didn't do anything for me, same for the introduction to the thirteen and Quarth. Harrenhal was great, Charles Dance stealing the show there and more Tyrion + Bronn bromance was great as well.
We might finally see Vargo Hoat. And he bloody well should not be riding a boring horse!
Don't believe the bloody mummers have been cast.
Whaaaat?

Vargo Hoat - kind of important.
Qyburn - kind of important.
Zollo - kind of important.

Well they're introducing a bunch of characters in season 3 that originally appeared in Book 2 first. It's a good thing because season 3 covers roughly half of the third book and cramming more characters in season 2 would make the show even harder to follow for non book readers.

Sometimes for a few seconds I dream of a dictatorship just to get rid of all the drama. Too bad there are no good dictators.

9gag again.  ::)

Great to hear about the third season extension. The best book from the series gets around 20 episodes. That ominous event concluding series 3. The outrage after Ned's execution will be nothing compared to that.

I want to see the new episode! Any Dutchies here where HBO Go isn't working either? I'm almost at the point where I'm going to call the cable company as HBO is not responding to my mail (probably have a bank holiday).

Edit:
great episode, fewer characters this time so we get some expanded storyline. Ironborn scenes were really good, I find the chapters concerning the ironborn to be the least interesting in the books. The TV show definitely improves upon them like they did with King Robert and the small council members in season 1.

Loved the first episode. Especially the Bran scenes and the Tyrion & Cersei interaction.

As someone who read the books I fear that 10 episodes are just not enough for A Clash of Kings. Some of the characters like Cressen (the maester that dies of his own poisoned wine), Melisandre (the red woman) and Stannis Baratheon (the guy with the fiery sword) could have used more build up. I had to pause the show for five minutes to explain who was who to a friend of mine after the Dragonstone scene.

Six clips from season 2 episode 1: The North Remembers.

I'm really glad they are showing Robb's campaign in the River and Westerlands. He's not a POV character in the books so you miss out on nearly all his adventures.
