Can I play regular BF2 when FH2 is installed?

Can I play regular BF2 when FH2 is installed?
I turned on simple BF2 and tryed to join a server. It gave me an error saying something like: unmodified version of BF2 is required. (but single player is normal)
Btw my copy is not pirate, but bought in shop and I played simple BF2 before the installation of FH2.

Should work just fine.

• Make sure you're launching BF2 using BF2.exe(or a shortcut to that) and not via FH2.exe.
• Make sure BF2 is patched to 1.5(should be though if you can play FH2).
• Make sure that the BF2 servers you're trying to join are not running a different version or something.
• Try to start and close FH2 before launching BF2. Something could have gotten screwed up.

fh2 swaps around some files when you load it (modified content) and if it crashes it wont swap it back.
so you might have to launch fh2, then close it properly and then start bf2 to get rid of this error.
however this is only needed if fh2 crashes.
