Ranking system + Team balance

Hey, it could be great to have :

1° A ranking system based on the team score (the one between your score and the K/D ratio on the scoreboard)

2° Servers balancing teams according to these ranks

... Couldn't it ?

ON top of that, team points are worth a lot more than kills as it is now. It is more profitable to only wound people than to kill them yourself ;)

Have you read more than the title seriously ? Besides 762 is not that bad, and whining against it (like every snub who can't connect hslan does in game) doesn't make it better.

Well... about 762... i was banned for 24h just for accident tk with stug... I even didnt had time to say sorry...

IMO HSLAN is the best serv avaible. And admins are ok :)


But to the topic - it should be somekinda shuffle, cuz its really cruel to face HSlan team + DLF team + other good players on one side...

Really nothing can be done in this way ? :(

I recieved a kick because i killed people with a PIAT.
I saw a guy getting kicked because a sherman was providing infantery support to capture the flag. The admin with this weird name kicked the player, and used his stug to happily kill the guys capturing the flag

Thats why people hate 762. Its a good server, but the admins are immature children who abuse their powers and make up rules while they stand.

About the rankings, i just recalled that their was mention and work on a global ranking system, but we havent heard about it for several releases

I, for one, have been playing mostly on 762 and I never ever had any trouble with the admins whatsoever...

Anyway, I'm not talking about a ranking system like 762 have but a simpler one, and the possibility to spread the potential good players equally in both teams.

Meh it keeps being brought up and then forgotten.  I think the mod needs this more then ANYTHING right now.  I would even take it a step further and give ranks (that mean nothing) geared to what army you play.  You might be a level 3 krout and level 5 Brit you get the idea.  Add in all the kooky awards badges on top of that as well.

I havnt seen one when i played on the server indeed. But if they are there, people seem to mysteriously dissapear and reappear on hslan:?.

Your idea sounds cool though, although i dont think teambalance works like that.

I would definitely play way more if awards were involved. (Got me hooked on BF2, and I got for all titles and emblems in MW2)

i think someone is working on it a little bit
but it was ctz baby and when he kind of retired it was left unfinished and unattended for a long long time.

i hope we can get it working properly one day ...

I received a warning, I don't see any problems shooting at infantry with the PIAT... I mean it was used as some kind of hand mortar isn't it?
