Is it just me? But why does the Russian used gun have 3 Red stars on it? shouldn't it have black crosses? Or The German one have red stars? I mean those are kills, right?

Apart from above-mentioned, an hypothetical Tunis campaign (or map) with US forces would require the M3 Halftrack variations imo:

-M3 Halftrack APC
-M3A1 Scout Car (M8 Greyouhund enterd in service in Italy)
-M3 Gun Motor Carriage (M10 Wolverine first battle was in El Guettar, late March 1943)
-T19 Howitzer Motor Carriage (though i think M7 Priest was already in service...)
-T28E1 or M15 Multiple Gun Motor Carriage as AA

LOL...oh man so true.  Perhaps someone should paint a few of those on the mortars ahead of time.

On a Normandy side note:

Would've loved to have seen more maps based on some of the larger cities rather than the countryside around them.

St. Mere Eglise / Carentan
Avranches / Argentan
St. Lo
Caen
Cherbourg

@WATCHTOWER
Ya, I am thinking City map.

I always thought Brest was a bit of a tease. It is a nice city map, but sma-all!. And still without everything.

I am hoping to see something with the cathedral at the end of the street. A large enough structure to not be put down by successive shots from a tank, but be honey-combed with sniper locations, and its tactical position at the end of a dual carriage makes it deadly from range, with only escape being the narrow side streets, the sewers, through houses and wine sellars. And AT guns and MG nests here and there.

A more destroyed area, and a more built up area... And enemy tanks able to lie in wait to ambush, rather than needing to rely on tank-tank street battles.

Well done, i am looking at the Brest-type map, that though larger, forces teams to move in corridors and in force, rather than scattered solo hunters.

A battle like Caen, Cherborg

Then yer, A NA American map.
Something DDay

A 'proper' bacage map.
'apartments' of tank-traps underneath hedgelines, allowing Germans to stay below the firing line while shooting from the hedge.

Open fields sepearated by hedgelines, 88s concealed in them, AT guns, Farmouses... Not A HOUSE, but HOUSES, a hill, with bocage leading up to its crest and a trench network atop it, mortars, bunkers etc...

I personally wish the devs NEVER call an end to Normandy or NA... but do as and when. A new map will always be needed. I don't think one more release will allay this need.

I wish that Battle of Keren will make it to the official next release...

We should start a petition to have this awesome map included... :)

For the red stars, Orders of Stalin were to not paint victories with "german crosses".
Actually, only the guys of Normandie Niemen did not respect this rule.

I think it was mounted on Marder III's

Nope, thats the 76mm divisional gun F-22 M1936

The 76.2mm Divisional gun Zis 3 was both a anti tank gun as an Artillery gun.

This means that it can be used in both ways?Yes?
