Regarding movies in your first post watch the longest day most accurate representation of the Landings ever i think at least from pictuers and what i have learned eh just teh devs will make a great map which i will hate playing. i swear the they fetured the polish heavily in the battle of britain movie, but still i give this documentry a watch.
Oh i can give u a massive list of brit ww2 incidents hijacked by Americans but i not in the mood i point to U479 ( or something called that) sure the americans found the Enigma machine yeh. To be honest the most intresting movies i have seen are from the russian persepective or german, hell i loved the BBC's doc movie dunkirk that was epic

to back that up 3/4 of the fighting in normandy was done my british and commonwealth forces well most of the battles any way (the devs stated that as well) So bring it up with them the source of that and it feels nice to have a ww2 mod which represents other partys not just Bloody America

it quite funny really my pc which i got from there a good four years ago, it was a packard bell pc, and this really young sales assistant, i mean same age as i was probably didnt know shit about PC's any way the one i got was around 200 pounds and the sign saying what specs were on the comp seemed good, when he turned his back quick DX diag search found it was not as it seemed on the sign, so i said to him look at this and he went erm...... so he threw in a nivdia 7600 i think and a copy of microsoft office for a couple of quid extra a total or 270 pounds i think i was actually chuffed, the funny think was i applied for a job there don't know why, and this salesman got the job instead of me because he had a higher grade in ICT wtf he couldnt even understand what i did retard

thsi brings up a question excluding the russians who really had the better tank designs USA or UK i mean they both have there faults and it an intresting debate, but we must admit early UK armour was really good 1940 to around 1942 possible then a small blip to the cromwell...... Discuss
