Also pb seems to be fine with you modding the .exe and the one flaw i found is that all the flags in the toolbox are incorrect. ??? all from Albania or something, go figure but all the servers are there and accounted for so it does work.

well i have vista so give it a try i think the toolbox is trying to use more than 2gigs of ram which it is not allowed to do and this give the toolbox permission to use more. and the freeze thing does also happen in vista so the toolbox probably just needs more ram.

Increases vista support for fh2 and allows the toolbox to run in Vista.
Note 2900 is mb, so 64 bit users can have a higher number and the default is 2000. remember vista needs 512mb.

To give fh2 more ram

Enjoy

Please tell me if it has worked and post any questions or problems concerning the patch. I feel that i should also state i am not responsible for any corrupted .exe that's why you always back up first! and a quick fix if you corrupt your only .exe or toolbox.exe is to uninstall then reinstall.

lol 47 is my best, most of the time i score around 20 but a lot of things happens :p. i prefer second line attack and will pick it up when i can, i hate having to camp for a gun so screw camping. Also a high screen resolution helps XD.

Snipeing is an art...

Its all about opportunities. A good sniper will know his surrounds, the entire map, and the quickest way to get from "A to B". The location you set up in is important like what every one said. Stay away from mosque and church towers, god hates snipers in his house. But anyways around these locations are prime spots for the s-mine you carry, for if you kill someone that's the first place they look for you. another thing is most people will be drawn toward that area so if you stay "near" the sniper pickup spot you will attract you competition. Okay now on to the three main points earlier. Know you surroundings... Y would u hide there if you can name no more than three in 30 seconds stay because its not an obvious spot, you want two things for your snipeing spots cover(from bullets and sight) and the ability to see. Secondly why would your enemy come near your location. if you are in an area with something valuable(a special kit, a spot to get a drop on your base, anything attractive like that) move, it will attract extra attention. Now you want to know the entire map, my favorite place for snipeing is at the airfield, you have a lot of plane campers well standing there. Another thing may be considered smaktardish is camping "over" spawns if you know where an enemy spawns take aim a shoot, but once if you miss dont shoo(and miss) again. Other good opportunity points are turrets, tank spawn and of course special kit spawns. A to B is well line up near b so you can see A and you have nice targets moving toward you.

Other tips...
1. Shoot once, you may shoot again if the target seems to of not "noticed you". stop after three and give the kit to someone else.
2. Use typical behavior to pick your spots.
3. Set as high of screen resolution as possible.
4. (havent done this) turn graphics down so plants dont load and you have clearer shots at opponents.

top o list with sniper is possible got 47 kills with sniper in a match. took two squads down with sniper who where advancing at me to win the match. so yeah i kinna know what im talking bout :P sorry for long post if it bugs you.

would level ness matter? like rataxes says the mortars "knows" where it is. thus theroreticly the weaopon should auto adjust. Also the "bullet" spawns at the tip of the weapon if im not mistaking so if possible you could code the projectile to always come out at the proper angle. and what some of use need to remember is that the game cares less where the projectile is made and visual effects can act different. we could make the howitzer fire like a flack but give the visual effect that howitzer arc i love. BF2 engine is capable of more than we care to give it credit to...but its still crap :P

General / Re: Ammo in FH2!

as far as tanks they should have to stay near them if that should be incorporated however i think for tanks they need to return to base for ammo. because if you run out of ammo ur a good tanker :P.

I'm not such a good tanker, and I waste my PzGr40 very quickly. Returning to base afterwards is not appealing. In other words: your assumption only goes for the common AP rounds. They will almost never run out, the other types of ammo do so regularly.

This is true. Then perhaps there should be a different supply truck or system for tanks and emplacements other than mgs. a small arms which handles small arm and another that handles larger caliber arms(tanks and such).

Then again i save those  PzGr40 until i find a tank thats a heavier class than me. As far as HE i run out way too much so i agree with you partly :P

Supply boxes as they are currently are not that great as stated. But i do like the one idea where on crete(and other maps)  you may drop a pr style box, which has ammo and the ability to select a different kit. If i recall that did happen and to comment on what admiral donutz said he is completely right.  that would be great but then that may generate lag? and if we wanted to incorporate this deeper we could have planes and supply trucks "deploy" limit small arms fire ammo which either give out a preset number of rounds or have a time on it which ever is do able. this would allow the supplier to move more freely. as far as tanks they should have to stay near them if that should be incorporated however i think for tanks they need to return to base for ammo. because if you run out of ammo ur a good tanker :P.

Summary Points:
1.Remove commander asset
2. Deploy able Small arms crates by supply trucks and possible scout planes?
3. Airborne maps a "weapon crate"
4.Tanks should return to base for ammo.
5. thats my 2 cents!
