I am very disappointed. This wasnt a good start of a release!
One Day Annouce, one day torrent to the release. Why didnt you announce the release date with torrent file one week before? (like 2.1, 2.15 etc) There is no news at the RSS feed?
And only 2 direct links... omg... why not bigger plattforms?
I like the idea of torrent, but torrent is bullshit when nobody is seeding because of the short forerun... :-(
by the way: Why are there two (!) torrent files? very suboptimal!
The 1.5 patch screwed absolutely our schedule.
Our plan was to release this friday with a standard announcement one week before and all that, as usual.
But the patch and its bugs for mods screwed this big time.
Some devs are going holidays this next week: ctz, toddel, etc, and a release without them had been absolutely imposible, so the options were this non-standard release or release in one month. We have been working like slaves, day and night, to get this out, our final release candidate was tested and ready yesterday, some hours before the announcement, and was compiled as torrent by our hoster from Crete (in his holidays): a big adventure, we could write a book about it.
We are sorry about all the troubles with hosters and stuff but we really hadn't other option. I hope you can understand.
