Great news! Many thanks to all the team!

And new animations for the Lee Enfields, just marvelous...

Warmest regards,

I tried all 4 maps and everything is working alright! The gameplay is just fine, no crashes at all.

Ivan, you should consider exchange the Russian tankist kit on both maps for the standard engineer kit, with the Mosin Nagant M38. This way Russians can have more firepower in their infantry. For now, a considerable number of them are going to battle with just their old Nagant revolvers.

You did such a great work on these maps, well done! Thanks again!

Ah yes Ivan, yes! You made my day here as well! I'm studying about navmeshing and it's not a piece of cake, for sure. Mainly, as you said, if the map is large and complex. I think that navmeshing those huge babies must be like take a vacation in hell.

I'll be downloading, installing and testing them just now, and I'll be back with feedback, for sure. For now, I can only thank you for your efforts and dedication here in SP/COOP lair :P. They are much appreciated.

About your 64p layers, you could try to contact Darman here on the forums, or PM him for some advice. The guy is a master (added bot support for all the first EF maps) and could give you nice inputs on your projects. And the recently released CMP maps, would be a dream having them on COOP. I'm waiting eagerly to hear any news from you.

So, I wish you all the best on your projects, and thanks again!

Singleplayer and Coop / Re: SP/COOP issues on 2.56 update

Ah yes, Morgan. I remember Ivan's post, in fact there is no info. And actually some guys reported difficulties with applying the fixes and make it work properly. As for myself, I didn't try to install, after mixed reviews here in the forums.

Jan mentioned that all of these issues, including the Bren Carrier + Motovsky 32p crashes, are already marked to be fixed on the incoming hotfix. So it's time to practice some patience and wait the next release.

Best regards,

batistadk

Hello Morgan. It can be a bit tricky to apply these fixes, mainly if you have limited knowledge in computing in general. I don't know if it's your case, but if you're experiencing difficulties following the steps provided, I recommend to wait until the official hotfix being released. It's already down the pipe and will be available in the near future.

Anyway, if you want to give another try, I strongly recommend to backup any of your original files before change them. Hope it helps.

Best regards,

Suggestions / Re: The Minor Suggestions Thread
« on: 06-06-2020, 08:06:17 »
Well, I'm obliged to agree with Chad about the AB-41. Actually the most important Italian AC in North Africa campaign. A Saharianna with armored casemate and turret, pretty cool. Can't say the same about the AB-40 and AB-43; both produced in small numbers, specially the AB-43, which could not even step foot in Africa.

The plane is a Fokker D.XXI. Original dutch project, and Finns actually were the main users of the type. For most of Winter War, it was the only modern front line fighter aircraft available to them. And, as usual, Finns took the best from the machine, something similar to what they have done with the Brewster later.

That lafette is already there at the very start, bots just man it, as any other static weapon.

About the bots behaviour, well, it's a well known fact they can be a little bit stupid about moving around, in different degrees, depending on the map. Actually, I felt the bots being more capable in Studienka after the last update, mainly on the German side. And that M10, at least during my last gameplay, moved normally throughout the map, crewed exclusivelly by bots. It crossed the bridge and actively supported my assault on the Fuel Dump.

Here http://fhpubforum.warumdarum.de/index.php?topic=20003.0 and here http://fhpubforum.warumdarum.de/index.php?topic=20690.0. But please be advised that some of them (mostly on Forgotten Maps Pack) need some tweaks and workarounds to work properly. I strongly recommend to follow the threads to get useful info on these.

Cheers!

Well Saku, some considerations.

As you play only offline, you should take in account that some maps, mainly on the Eastern Front, are not officially available as Single Player. But you could take a look on the Single Player section here on the forums, some of these are available in non-official packs.

As the vehicles and weapons, it depends on the map. As ALAN said, you must find them! Take a look around the spawn points, you'll find some kits hanging around... or maybe in towers and high places, who knows...  8)

studienka 64 coop crashes 5 or 10 minutes into the round, it seems to be a problem with the bots at the Studienka village flag, I tested it from german side and the soviet side once, and it crashed both times looking towards that flag.

Yes, I also detected that crashes in Studienka, and another one on Arad's map after a few minutes playing.

Well, I cannot confirm those. Played Studienka 32p just now, and the round went on without problems. About 64p, I'm going to try it ASAP. Arad, AFAIK, is working just fine, all layers, in my install. Be advised anyway that Arad has no official bot support, so you should try contact Darman on his original EF COOP thread here: http://fhpubforum.warumdarum.de/index.php?topic=20690.0.

Chad, you should cut the file and paste it somewhere else, like your desktop, for example. Then, proceed with the changes. After you finish, return the file to the original location.
