 I did not name anyone specifically, although I do find it curious that Von Muddy would take offence at a benign comment that wasn't even made to him. (And BTW Mudra, Djinn does play online but only when he's got a bloody working PC)


 All I was saying was : let the new guys complain, whine, comment or whatever... at least they are playing the game. Personally, I have almost quit FH2 because of the EXTREME lack of players , which is why I feel that the NEW players should be given a great degree of freedom.

 How about a few of the real life personalities from WW2 itself?

 plenty of those men were feted as celebrities, so why not use real examples instead of some HBO actor?


 JFK, Carey Grant, Paul Triquet, Michael Wittmann, etc. there's plenty of real examples for us to aspire towards.

Anyways, Lee Marvin was a combat vet though, so that's a start

Marvin left school to join the United States Marine Corps, serving as a Scout Sniper in the 4th Marine Division.[6] He was wounded in action during the WWII Battle of Saipan, during which most of his platoon were killed. Marvin's wound (in the buttocks) was from machine gun fire, which severed his sciatic nerve.[7] He was awarded the Purple Heart medal and was given a medical discharge with the rank of Private First Class.

Lee Marvin was the man...you should google an interview with him by Roger Every from the late 60s, early 70s. Wild!
