Title: Cannot connect to Gamespy server

 Anyone else having this problem:

 An error occurred while verifying "$talkker" GameSpy account:

A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time
or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.


 I just played this Sat without any problems.

 This is the 1st time anything like this has ever happened.

Is there something wrong with the account server?

I am having the same problem.  Started about 4:00 EST.  Looking for IP 142.54.165.198:29900.  Hope someone responds.

Yeah, I think we all are having this issue. Should be fixed soon.

Custom server backend is down, so PR and FH2 aren't playable atm. Will hopefully be fixed soon.

Alright, I needed to get some s**t done today anyway.  Maybe change the topic or make a stickied announcement cuz "Gamespy" was a little misleading when I was looking for an answer.

MusicPlayer.cpp is also an effect of a nonresponsive 'gamespy' server.

 Just tried the connection this morning.

 Its working fine now.

Fancied a few rounds this evening. Getting this message "An error occured while verifying "FH2Playernick" GameSpy account on 762.

However I can see there are players on the 762 server.

Guess I just have to wait while it resolves itself ?  ???

There seem to be an issue with the master server. I can connect without any problems, but some people can't  ???
