We're gonna party like it's 1997! And apparently this is Belgium (thunderdome '97), not Poland.
I completely understand drug use situation like that. I sure couldn't stand 5 minutes of that without being heavily drugged.
Brings back memories from that era. I really used to listen to hardcore/gabber techno at the time. I still have a few Thunderdome and Terrordrome collection CD's lying around. Haven't touched that stuff since, though (I mean, listing the BPM in the track listing as if that was some sort of e-penismeter...). But don't confuse the "real" hardcore with happy hardcore which is still baws, only that they don't make it anymore (Blümchen, Charly Lownoise & Mental Theo, Dune, Tokyo Ghetto Pussy, and the like; also, some Scooter songs of the era) and especially don't believe Wikipedia where some Britderps wage perpetual war to define "happy hardcore" as something totally different because it is called so in the UK (only), while for the rest of the world it would mean cheerful, uplifting ~140-160bpm rave music that's much more palatable than hardcore without the "happy" prefix.
Is it just me or does everyone in that video look like the guy in the "Dimitri hears" meme?
