Where did Djinn's big post go?

Anyway, I like the layout, having the minimap available gives you the "big picture" thing you can't get from the screenshots alone.  Is it push?  Kinda like a reverse Dunkirk map: The Brits pushing the Germans to the sea instead of the other way around.

Thanks all.

The map actually plays similar to the video Eat Uranium posted, but without the Casino (and nuns). It’s mostly infantry with some vehicles.

I wasn't offended btw.

Looks good, but total war maps like Totalize and Cobra are more to my tastes. Or even vehicle-heavy open terrain thingies like Lüttich or Villers. Clearly, it's full of cityfight and SMG bias. ;D

Like I said, looks fantastic, but only gameplay will reveal if it will really appeal to me.

Seeing the minimap I know that the allied will have to fight every inch of the way.
Looking forward to it.

Nice update guys, although truth be told I don't really like infantry only maps. To me they're not what FH2 is all about.

You should be more amazed that "The Longest Day" actually got it right, in almost every respect, especially compared to other "Hollywood" movies of the day.

And the map looks great! Hopefully it's spread out enough so that we don't get too much spam. That's the main reason I don't find Anctoville that fun, other than the lack of SL spawns.

I hope this map doesn't lag my computer like Anctoville and the town portion of Goodwood *shudders*.

You should be more amazed that "The Longest Day" actually got it right, for the most part.
Except that those parts shot in Port-en-Bessin represented Ouistreham in the film :p
