The G43 limiting

I understand that it is good to limit the number of G43s, but I observed in map like Luttich, that as G43 is limited, there are no unlimited kits with grenades, in particular, K98+grenade.

I think that would kind of limit the offensive/defensive abilities of the Germans. One solution is maybe to have a 2-weapon system that as a scout you could select either rifle+smoke+binocs or rifle+grenade+bayonets.

The best solution would be not limiting the rifleman kit. Easy to achieve by just sticking the K98k in there.

Gew43's were really only issued to assistant squad leaders, so yah, they should be quite limited, even moreso than the Stg44

Usually the assistant sl. The only unit that used G43s in considerable numbers was the Skijaeger division:

on topic tho: I think it wouldn't be such a bad idea to use the "St. Lo Breakthrough G43 profile" on all maps with G43s.. with the exception of SL having the option between MP40 and G43. G43 would be present on the map (limited), yet there would still be an access to unlimited K98s (with rifle grenades, although I would love to see those limited as well -but that's a crushworthy dream)

I was about to post it, yes, I think that's honestly the best solutions, plus maybe a couple pick up kits that are rifleman style with grenades would be fitting.

@Batteries, nah, best shot in the squad was the man with the MG, and SL usually carried a MP-40, or when it came out, Stg44.  They usually stuck with the MP-40, as training dictated that the squad leader wasn't really supposed to be in combat, he was supposed to be giving orders, scouting the next position to move the MG, and etc.  The only time he should be in combat is when the squad closed with the enemy, in which case having a rifle would not be desirable.

The unlimited hand grenades would definitely make the Germans much stronger in maps like Luttich.

Else only a handful of guys have their grenades and the others have merely a K98 and bayonet vs Garands, not a good idea IMO.
