nose heavy? naa, the axis of the tank is the front support wheel, behind it you got the mainframe of the gun, engine, all other heavy parts, that barrel is just a leaf ^^

Jagdpanther and Jagdpanzer IV had both just 1 mg in the hull
The early versions of JP IV had left and right one cupola with each one mg behind.
The late version only had one.

thats basically what i said - this version has the long 75mm gun which appeared in later versions. so there is only 1 mg.

i dont see how the jagdpanther will be that much better than a standard panther right now. sure, it has the best gun of ww2 with the long 88mm, but this only makes a difference if there are churchills on the map, because shermans are 1shotted by both guns anyway.
the only advantage the jagdpanther has over the panther ingame i could think of is the lower silhouette, but i would rather like to have a turret and a coax gun. so i dont expect much of it, its just cooler and has more style, the advantages it had in reality cant be included in a game.

Probably withouth the stupid default fog of war the game would be better. I like it on PR where you can see everything for miles.

hey do you think we will see the M9 bazooka for the Ardennes ? At least it will help a little more than the M1 bazooka for hunting tanks

It will come in handy when defending against hoardes of IS2s and ISU122s.  ;D

The guns where more effective on the eastfront.

The Tiger needed to be in range of 800m to even try to penetrate the new IS2 frontal armor. And also at 1200m for the ISU. While the above could easily engage the tiger beyond that range

For the churchill it dint matterd, as the churchill also couldnt fire back at that range.

thats the tigers performance.
panther and IS2 could engage each other at 1000 metres - panther had more shells, double to triple the fire rate, better optics and agility. (also german wiki), also before this comes again: russian steel quality never met western (yes, also german) standards in ww2. when the IS2 was introduced in spring 44 it still had some protection problems in the hull so that panzer IVs and stugs could engage it (which of course was later solved). kingtiger and jagdpanther had the advantage.
we had this discussion before and it ended in off topic spam, so i will stop here.

IS2 HE shell was effective enough VS the panther tank alone with spalling damage. It could even rip of the turret

Shall i post one of the many pictures of ripped apart german AFV's?

I think you meant to say that his stupid AVRE is nothing to the Sturmtiger, unless you really wrote a post to argue against yourself.

Also, can front-heaviness be coded into the game? Just wondering?

Jagdpanther IV== Less adorable than the Hetzer. I mean, come on. You just want to pinch that thing's little cheeks!

Who's a good little Hetzer? Who's a good little Hetzer?! YOU ARE! Yes you are! Yes you are!!!
Twilight - the movie is just like Schindler's list... You know you're watching a crime against humanity, but it's sort of entertaining.~~Ts4EVER

Don´t want to nit-pick here, but the Tank on the Picture is not the Sd.Kfz. 162 but the Sd.Kfz. 162/1 Jagdpanzer IV/70 (V) from Vomag!

The Sd.Kfz. 162 Jagdpanzer IV (also called Jagdpanzer IV/48) had a 7.5 cm PaK 39 L/48 Gun,
while the Sd.Kfz. 162/1 Jagdpanzer IV (Jagdpanzer IV/70) from Vomag in the picture had the 7,5cm StuK [SturmKanone] 42 L/70 (also called 7.5 cm PaK [PanzerabwehrKanone]42 L/70),
which was indeed a slightly modified Version of the Panthers 7,5cm KwK [KampfwagenKanone] 42 L/70 Gun!

Only the Sd.Kfz. 162/1 Version with the long L/70 Caliber Gun was called "Guderian-Ente" ("Guderian-Duck", not just "Duck") by the crews!
This was partly because Heinz Guderian strongly opposed and delayed the Project and partly because, as mentioned above, the long Gun made the vehicles somewhat nose-heavy, which caused them to handle "like a dabbling duck"!

But anyway a great Model and Texture! Good job guys!;-)
