let me put it this way
the M9 IS obviously stronger than the M1 bazooka

This springfield will have the same sound as the Sniper springfield amiright?
-i am fairly sure that if they took porn off the internet, there would only be one website left and it would be called bring back the porn "Perry cox, Scrubs.

Let us now hope this Zooka can penetrate the frontal armor of PZIV and stugs AS IT SHOULD be

pfff ... then there is not the SLIGHTEST justification for a sherman to stand a panzerfaust shot or even a regular PIV shell.
And neither should the PZIV frontal armor be invurnable for the 75mm oh and the stug aswel

Please, i can continue with this

<cough>  Real world effects were much different than what the factories said it should do.  The Zook rounds were ACTUALLY only capable of penetrating about 50-60mm of armour, and the M9 I imagine, while better, still was NOT the 120mm or so that is quoted in the update.

Wouldn't matter.  HEAT rounds work by burning through, not smashing through.

They cut through, they work far to fast for any transfer of heat to have any effect.

Cut, whatever.  I'm just saying that its a different way of penetrating the armour, that has nothing to do with if the steel is brittle or not.

All game penetrations are based on 500m.  At that range, M3 gun with AP ammo can penetrate only 73mm RHA.  Since as a rule, weakened armour is not taken into effect, the PzIV hull will remain invulnerable.  Don't like that?  Tough.  I don't want to see this brought up again or you will start to lose man points.

Anyhow, I just thought I'd point out that while the PzIV has thicker frontal armour than the Sherman ingame, it also has fewer hitpoints - which means that comparisons between things killing them are more complicated.

Never said that, only that the A1 wasn't used in normandy.  Now as also pointed out in that thread, the A3 was used as a grenadier platform, and this one actually is the A3 due to it having the A3 stock...so I donno why its called the A1 here. xD

I take no responsibility for the historical content of my updates. I am no Lightning or Taranov. On that note, I'll bring it up internally.

What Would Anlushac11 Do?

Beautiful weapons guys. Variety and detail is the bread and butter of FH, and I love me some fattening toast. :) Cant wait to see someone complain about the US having all automatic weapons then grief them with the Springfield.
