Black and White

Hey,

When I use any weapons on anyteam in ironsights.  The screen becomes black and white.  I can still see everything except it is in black and white like an old school movie.  I have no idea how to fix this.  Have an suggestions please post them here.  

Hopefully the April Fools update was true lol.

THis is a common and known problem please check previous posts.

1. delete shaders
2. start fh2 from the fh2 shortcut or .exe
3. make sure u have admin rights and xp compatibility mode if vista

I deleted the shaders in My Documents/Battlefield 2/ mod/ bf2/ cache/ {random shit}random shit.  Yet I still have the black and white problem.  Any other suggestions?

If that is the case then you have to get the shader_client.zip from Filefront and replace both zip files in your BF2 and FH2 folder since they have been corrupted as well. This happens in 10% of the cases.

Should be a simple fix. It's 300kb on both files together.

If Your screen looks like this. and you have the disc version of BF2. Then delete and replace with the following in your C:\programfiles\eagames\battlefield2\mods\bf2.

Black and White in Iron sites

shaders_client.zip
shaders_client.zip.backup


But if your screen looks like that and have a downloaded version of BF2 "aka Complete collection" this is what I did to get it to work and have all the shaders working properly. I used a BF2 CD version .exe and used alcohol 120% B.E. with bf2 mini image.

Original BF2 1.41 .EXE CD check

Yes...well that version of bf2is very incompatible with fh2, due to the way the .exe works. Hmmm..... you could try my vista os fix just a few post down. it may work. called toolbox fixed! . hope it works

Just get yourself the DVD BF2.exe (google for it) and all will be fine.
