kinda

He solo killed a Barrow wight with his voice alone.

Also Frodo is supposed to summon him by singing the Bombadil song and is not supposed to lie there. So this pikschur is wrong.

The first time they were trapped I guess.

Fuck the "top critics" the movie was good, the gollum scene was wonderfull.

48 FPS + 3D was so fucking awesome, it looked like a documentary sometimes, it was impressive.

To be frank, I watched it in 2D because the 3D was only available with the 48FPS.
I hate the look, it's the same you get when you have a new TV that interpolates between pictures, but luckily you can switch that off at home. Everything feels sped up and looks like it's been shot with a cheap hand camera (hence the moc-/documentary feeling). I so hope that this style does not succeed, or my cinema days are over... :(

I definitely need to see this in 48 FPS. As a gamer who enjoys playing games at ~100 FPS, I'm really interested to see how high frame rate would ruin anything.

Ever seen those TV with 200Hz and 400 Hz motion flow? That basically it. The screenplay is so fluid it looks more like a documentary then a movie.

I have absolutely no idea what that is supposed to mean.

I have seen documentaries that looks way better than most films. :/

Try to watch Youtube home videos, and then compared it to cinema videos.

All of the action looks much less dramatic now, it is too fluid (as NTH described it). That's >24 FPS vs. 24 FPS for me.

Once, my father switched from 24fps to 48fps on the TV.

Fuck that was ugly, hollywood films looked like cheap soap operas.

24fps ftw

I was very dissappointed too!

Way to much slapstick, everytime it got interesting some silly stuff happened that ruined
the mood completely for me.
I liked the book but the first film was not my cup of tea.

I like the film, although the story differs a little bit.

When you see it you will know it. Now young padawan go out in the world and see the true power that is 48 FPS.
