Loading Crash
« on: 12-02-2010, 15:02:59 »
Every time loading finsihes, FH2 crashes. I hadn`t have this error before, but I installed FH2 new, after it crashed always while it was starting with a "Texture XY not found"-error. Two days ago everything worked super. Can anybody help me?  ???

Edit: The error is at multiplayer maps. The normal BF2 works without any problems.

can anyone post the thread starters system setup since he forgot to do it ....

os xp/vista/7  32 or 64 ?
which fh version  (should be 2.25, if not there is your problem)
which bf2 version (should be 1.5 if not there is your problem)
single or multiplayer ?

a screenshot of the error message would be useful to find the error dont you think ;)

The error comes at multiplayer, FH2 version 2.25, BF2 1.5 with hoftix. There is no error message. Just "An error ocurred. Would you like to report this error to the FH2 team?" Thats all.

hmm
check punkbuster if it is up to date

run the game in windowed mode this will usually help catch error message you wont see otherwise

to launch windowed mode add:
+fullscreen 0
to the launch properties of the fh2.exe shortcut

and what operating system ?
does singleplayer/lan game work ?

Operating system is Windows XP Professional. The error ocurres just at multiplayer. How can I check if my punkbuster version is too old?

Edit: I checked my windows application error folder. There is nothing about FH2. Just this:

What hotfix for 1.5. I don't think anyone on this forum is using a hotfix.

We can only help when you do the following:

run the game in windowed mode this will usually help catch error message you wont see otherwise

to launch windowed mode add:
+fullscreen 0
to the launch properties of the fh2.exe shortcut

You can check your PB Files by downloading the pbsetup.exe from here and running it for BF2.
