it's been very confusing to me, but is it actually true?? in the news they sound very serious about this.  :-\  ???

Last year it was an announcement that they were moving to the Battlefield:Heroes engine.

This one is only slightly more believable.

Everyone knows that before 45 the world was black and white. And FH2 calls itself a realism mod...a real shame... >:(

But the world is still black and white. The only colours we see is on TV, they make us believe there is colour in the world. Well screw you Hollywood, there isn't!

Yes.. and the good thing is that the FH2 Devs never said it was a April Fools joke in the Website.. and many people belived it.

And how silly, the Forgotten Hope 2 icon still got red in it, remove that, it's giving people ideas this might be some strange Hollywood Mod.

That's what I told that one guy on hslan as he wondered if this news were true. He was really fertig mit den Nerven (can't remember the english expression, drank too much) because they took his beloved colours :( and got angry when I told him there were no colours before 1945 and that it was not just a movie technique thing.

It was the Germans who invented the continuous color ray, which was used first at the 1936 olympics. It sprayed color-rays around the stadium. Color ray flashing devices existed earlier as can be seen in this picture from 1877:
