2 months ago the 25th started looking for a partner clan and 130th accepted. Since then we have had joint trainings every other week, with an aim to play bigger maps than the 16 player versions are. However we feel that these would be even more fun, if we had some more people. That is why we are looking for more clans to join these trainings.
It is no secret that times are tough for FH2 clans at the moment, one of the reasons being that people are tired of playing infantry only battles on desert maps. This is why we should all work together and start holding joint trainings, for example playing on a 64 player map with 4 clans. This would be a chance for all of us to train on tactics on a squad level, definitely a better option than having no trainings at all.
Everything regarding this (the time, the freaquency of trainings, the maps we play...) is a matter of negotiations.

I guess the F|H could gather two squads, WaW too, the DLF one, the Cont@ct ( a new french F2 clan) one, the [e-C] one, don't know if the Exavs are still alive, who am I forgetting?

There are actually quite a number of new clans out there as late. I've seen them, MiG, FC (not new no, but playing more often), and some others. Shame the others save for FC don't frequent these forums often or at all.

Glad you are interested. I will pm you my msn, so we can discuss the details. As soon as we have enough clans who are interested, we should hold some sort of a meeting over msn or ventrilo/teamspeak.
About the tournament teams, though they are more than welcome to join us, they probably won't be able to, as they have their own battles going on during weekends. And these would have to be on the weekends, as the US/Candaian players can't possible make it in the middle of the week.

We for sure could organize a clash of clans for FH2.
2 squads of 79th, 2 of F|H, 2 of the 130th, 2 of waw and then there are still 8 slots open on each side for the 25th and 101st and whoever can join, we from F|H can throw an awesome custom map in. Just tell me here if we could organize this and we will do it for a sunday evening. :)
F|H can provide the map, organization, graphics to advertise and just make it look awesome and professional and spread it out so that many players in the BF2 scene will also see we are active and do cool events for FH2.

Late sunday CET time would be good for us 130th, but it gets a bit too late for the Hungarians, who prefer the game to be on saturday or friday, though we'll see if we could persuade them. We might also have 2 games and then reconsider the timing next week. Our server is down though atm and we'll be doing our training with the 25th on friday at 18:00 GMT on their server which is located in Budapest.
I'm leaning more towards reconsidering the server and time if we can get anything going for this weekend.

The idea was to strat holding these on a regular basis. However, starting this of with a big bang, such as the clash of the clans, is definitely a good idea. I have added you on msn dutch, to discuss the details.
And Sgt-D, I shall make an account on those forums later today.
Now, regarding the Millau viaduct: I have been studying bridge engineering for 3 years now and a fine piece of engineering that is Millau viaduct is bound to leave a mark on a person such as myself. It is my dream to some day be part of a project such as that and push the limits of bridge building as well. Maybe not very likely, but I'm not going to set my goals low.

Guys how about comunications? Will all clans sit on same TS (ofcourse different chanells for different sites ::))
But it would be funny if each site would have its plan ordered before battle, and just sit on own TS and provide it, if something goes wrong in one team ;D ;D ;D It would be more realistic, that different units dont have any comunications between themselves ;D ;D
Right now my clan is having in clan voting about this event, but we will join probably (right now the option "Yes" have 100% :P)

Btw we're still having problems with our server so it'll have to be on say the FH server. This will be our "official" forums for this scrim so stay updated and I'd like to know the date and time everyone. This Sunday at 2:00PM EST seems fine for my clan.

This is a really good idea. I'd try to shoot for a set time on this when people from both the US and Europe could be available.

Before we can start this, we first need to know how many clans are interested, before we do all the work. We can aim for upcoming Sunday April 19.
But we need to know who will be in. F|H will have 2 squads so that is 12 players. More I do not want from 1 community/clan cause a clash of clans is only fun with as much clans as possible.
So please reply here if you are interested to join and who you are and how many squads. Lets set the deadline to Tuesday evening and then we can also see if there is interest for this.
We have a map, server and if needed ts ready for this event. Just let me know here if you are interested.

[e_C] is intrested to take part in this event. We can set 1 squad, but there is option that more of us will join [8-10]. And the time is also very important thing. Remember that your 20:00 is our 22:00 in case of 79th. Belive me no one will appear at 22 to play.
And when you will discuss important things write everything here ;].

Oh believe me we are writing everything here. As for the time, we said 19:00 so that would be 20:00(not 22:00!:P) for Poland/most of Europe or 10:00 for the West Coast of Canada and US. So do you want it to be backed up and hour? Also, I don't know if the 130th will be able to have two full squads but we'll see and I'll make a post to see who can make it.

The same goes for you Cin3k33, add me ASAP. I will send you my msn again, in case it got lost the first time :) I will also PM it to desertrat, in case he wants to be the representative of your clan in this matter.
Now to the business. In order to avoid confusion, since we are arranging 2 different events here, I'm gonna bot of them different name. The one time event Dutch suggested (on a custom map, with no less than 64 participants) will now be called "Clash of the clans". The training that will be held on a regular basis, with as many clans as possible, will be called me "Clan wars". Forgive for my lack of imagination.
The Clash of the clans will be postponed until we have enough clans signed up to fill a 64 player server. I will start sending emails to clans shortly, directing them to this thread. I would have started with this ealier, but the last week has been really intense for me in real life, I hope you can forgive me.
The Clan wars we can hopefully start with on the next weekend (thats 25-26 of April), likely on Sunday. So far we are having some trouble finding a time that suits all the europeans since there is a 3 hour time difference between Poland and France. This is why I need all the clan representatives to add me on msn ASAP, so we can figure a compromise out.
A little about the Clan wars event: It is a little bit more in a free form than the Clash of the clans, it will be more like a training. You might say it is a training for the Clash of the clans. This means the big clans ( the 25th :P), might have to split their team in 2 and fight on both sides, to keep it even and easier to manage. The idea is that everyone would get a chance to play and no on would have to sit a round out. This of course means that the exact teams (who plays with and against who) will have to be made up on the spot. I believe we can do it, if we keep down on the in game spam.
The above is of course a consept, as i said, everything is negotiable. And that is why, excuse the bold, again, everyone must add me on msn ASAP
The map we have planned with the 25th for next is Alam halfa 32, but I suggest we change it to something bigger, if we get more than 30 people. Again, that is subject to be discussed on msn, to make the conversation go faster.

Guys ive got an idea, why dont all clan leaders, tournament leaders and other VIPs gather on Fh2 TS some day, we can have disscusion and decide it.

Ok, I'll make this short then.
The first clan wars event will be this Sunday, 26th of April, 18:30 GMT (2:30 pm EST). [130.Pz], [e_C] and [79th] will be taking part in this (though Im still waiting on final confirmation from the 79th). |@| and 25th may also be joining. If we get more than 30 people, it will be on a 64 player map, otherwise on a 32 player version. The map has not yet been decided on.
It is still not too late for other clans to join, though you have to let me know as soon as possible!

So we did it!!! Iceland is broken!!! We can`t wait for next saturday to play again, with [ i hope so ] bigger team. And I think we have to set in teams day before, who have to defend wich flag ect.
We played Suprcharge map 32p as Axis and Aliied each team.

It was fun. Had a great time with my MG waiting for the next wave of cannon fodder.
Though next time we need better coordination, communication, more tank support etc.

It was lots of fun though, its the first time I've played Fh2 in an organized fashion. Although, the first round our team got beat bad, I personally had a horrible score... but I didn't care. Second round was decent though. But I had to resort to tanking since I can't stand that map we played... yuck! ;)
But yeah, I think the map was not so great... to be honest I avoid that map at all costs. Mainly because its simply not an infantry map... ;)

Well like I said, there is literally nowhere to hide on that map.. making it a really bad infantry map. I just followed Krad... ;).

Woot! I was top of the loser heap both rounds! Of course that is kinda like being the smartest kid in a special ed class but hey I will take it!
Special congrats to the 79th in squad 1! You guys did a great job on your end. I just wish we had not failed so hard and been able to do our part to help.

I think we should aim for the weekend after this upcoming one. Planning this takes some time and if we do it too often, we will get tired of it soon, as there are not enough different maps. And the 79th said they dont want to play on every weekend.
The thing with coming up with a battleplan earlier is that we don't know exactly how many players each clan will bring, and because of that we don't who will be in the same team with who etc... This will become even bigger of a problem when more clans will join. The best thing we could do IMO is for clan representatives to show up earlier, say 15 minutes, so we can start with the planning.
Although the next event will be in 2 weeks (thats my vision anyway), I want to start with planning it right away. So think of the maps we could play and catch me on msn. Any other ideas or suggestions you have are of course most welcome.
And I have to add we are still looking for more clans to join, the sooner you let us know the better, though we probably wont kick you out even if you give us a 2 day notice :P

Well Krad, you have my respect for using pistol instead of just dolphin-dive, too bad I had to shoot you. I thought I was a goner but instead I got a nice surprise.

I need to speak to Cin3k33 and Hunti (if you are reading this) on msn to discuss the map for the upcoming event, and possible some other issues. So would you be so kind and jump on msn, we are starting to run out of time again...
@ Kubador: I'd like to claim that I'm absolutely pure of that sin, but I can't. Generally, when changing positions, I have my pisto out (as was the case this time) but when somone surprises me when I have the mg out, I wont bother with switching weapons. I will go prone and fire as soon as I can. Well, basically I will dolphin-dive. Obviously I'm waiting eagerly for the anti dolphin dive code in the next patch.
For the future, a correct way to show your respect in a situation such as this would be giving a 2 second salute, instead of opening fire instantly :P

The next clan wars event will be on this Sunday, May 10th, 8:30 GMT (2:30 pm EST), on the 79th server (The same time and place as last time). The map will be alam halfa 32.
Unfortunately I have lost contact with the [e_C], so i do not know if they will be there. The 79th, 130th and 25th are coming for sure. I estimate 20+ people without e_C and 25+ when e_C does show up.

And ofcourse the event can be on the same day as nations cup, we just use different times.

Update:
Since we lost 2 clans (the 25th are taking a break until normandy comes out and 79th went to a "summer vacation"), these events have stopped until more clans sign up. Right now we only have us and [e_C]. So, sign up.
