Well, since half of this doesn't interest me as a non-vBF2 player, I am happy to see that BF2 is getting support after all these years and that the hit detection is being fixed, as well as taking away the requirement to have the DVD/CD in the drive. Besides that though...I don't think DICE are ticking off the right boxes in regards to what the players want. Here is what I'm more concerned about:
No 'real' widescreen support. I don't mean cropping 4:3. The real aspect ratio of 16:9/16:10. The option to change it in graphics settings. And most importantly...no more stretched HUD. It's 2009, true the game was made a few years ago, but widescreen support should be the requirement of all games. 16:9 and 16:10 is becoming standard format. All this 'unfair advantage' stuff is just, well, bullshit really.
Fix the damn graphics flickering. This has been around for ages, and it does effect a decent majority of vBF2/modded BF2 players. If it's down to DICE, nVidia or ATi I don't know...but it needs fixing.
Dissapearing server info/server graphics needs a fix too.
