I have played the 32 player size several times. With exception of yesterday, I saw your commenton MG guns there Otto, this is a map where the allied forces --> spawn - run - throw smoke - die, rinse and repeat.

The Italians get to the flag first and if not complete idiots can easily defend it the whole round.

I seem to CTD frequently while flying on Mareth Line.  Actually, I CTD while flying more often than while doing anything else, but it stands out on Mareth, even though it happens on all maps.

Same here. Flying causes most crashes for me and for some weird reason on Mareth more then other maps.
Could be there is more stuff going on on Mareth which causes your PC to " choke" .

Ahmmmm .. PR .. ;) runs... but really they got it from FH2. That's a mighty compliment for this mod.
Oh by the way the securom isnt mentioned in this beta release because it's already working in the first release of 1.5.

Well, I didn't hear him.  It must be something on my end, though I was lagging badly at the time (due to F@H running itself twice).

Why would you run it twice? Oh, and you didn't miss much interesting stuff, I only said logical sh*t like "Clear the flag" etc.

I like logical shit being said using VOIP, it beats the hell out of having to type. You did good ;D

I have to say that in my entire FH2 career, I have never heard anyone use voip.  This could be due to some problem on my part that makes me deaf, or I'm not in the right squads.  It all looks chaotic because you were on the only consistently populated server - i.e. everyone from the teamplayers down to the vBF2 lone wolves is on that one server.  After a while though, you should come to recognise a few names of good players to squad up with.

Generally though, just try to stick to where your SL is, even if they are acting a bit odd.  And if they go mental, you can allways try starting a voip squad like Schneider said (I'm sure some people would join it).

And on the off topic of bren carriers: have you tried rolling one over and using it as a short lived pillbox?  Its fun (but hard to do right).

Usually you can find teamplay with squads named VOIP, Teamwork or Clan names.
Stick to your SL, ask which kit is needed the most, where to spawn, etc.
You can also teamplay without being in a squad. I like the temaplay between a good spotter and an Arty man.
Or between bomber pilots and people who spot enemy tanks on the grounds.

Looking forward seeing you on the battlefields.

There is one thing more I want in this patch and that is being able to toggle the crouch key.

                             

Have you tried fiddeling with the controls.con. There is a seperate attribute that indicates if a key can be toggeled.


No, how would I be able to set up a toggled key ?
