well, when someone talks me about frontal armour, Theta, I think that sloped armor, NOT the turret. I don't give a fuck if turret armour gets penetrated, but if frontal sloped armour, hell will come on earth.
It's not like all the ammo, fuel and crew sits in the turret, but indeed turret penetration disable a tank aswell.
Do you know what was the strategy to blow up a KT ? I suppose that tankers were likely to avoid engaging such a tank frontally. I'm not an expert at all in real life tank fighting, but I guess that flanking attacks were highly recommanded, even if a Cromwell was able to penetrate the turret (whish I guess was really hard to manage, unlike in the game).
