D-Day Landing Craft Tank (LCT) alternative
« on: 25-08-2012, 02:08:38 »
Now i just found out recently that the FH2 devs inserted a particular mechanic to a truck in Falaise Pocket.
Just for people who don't know, they've added a canadian truck that carries an AT gun on the truck bed. To get it deployed, all you have to do is jump in the back and man the AT gun and it gets farted out the back of the truck.

Now to the suggestion:
Is it possible to insert this type of mechanic to 3 tanks inside of this ship? Obviously they can't be manned while the ship is being driven or the tanks will crash into the LCT's front door/walls and cause mayhem on the ship with its glitchy jumpy thing.

Pretty sure WaW did this last campaign.

The purpose of this deployment was to "annoy and defy the United States ... on her with Bofors 40 mm guns from a range of 650

fixed. and WaW solved a bunch of technical problems with boats, wouldnt be surprised if such a simple thing you suggested was done for their maps

The italians have it in Bardia, Germans have it in Lebisey. There's more I think but can't remember them at the moment.

Does anybody have a pic or video of the tank carrier from WaW?

*About the AT guns carrier* Add one to the german team in Eppeldorf, it so painstakingly boring to push that AT gun from the main base to the entrenched hill just so you can support your teams advance into the town.  Plus the fact of dying almost every time you move the AT gun by some random lone wolf US soldier.

Haven't seen this truck yet. I knew about it because I had seen it in an old news update post.
Great idea Cheesus. .....Onward with the search of the AT farting trucks in FH2!  ;D

Does anybody really not have a pic of this WaW thing? I've been searching the WaW forums and haven't found crap about this thing. I require evidence!

So this actually works as intended? I've tried the LCT in the official but its pretty damn bugged. The sherman blows up when I disembark, and it's invisible when I drive the ship.

Hnnnngh. You wave this piece of evidence over my nose as i slowly become anxious and spastic, like a dog being teased by its owner with a juicy steak! How dare you taint my curiosity with this caged information! I shall find a way to pry these bars blocking my way to the LCT tank carrier eventually!
