Iron Front: Liberation 1944
« on: 23-06-2011, 23:06:11 »
This game is gonna be great. Essentially it's an FPS built on the ArmA II engines based on the East Front during WWII:

Looks good, but I hope they iron out  the Arma engine.  IIRC, its pretty bug ridden....  But all in all, looks very interesting!

dont see why they do all the flashing with big lettered "actuall ingame grapics" when the game looks like something that was made 5 years ago...

They are nice graphics, probably the best you'll see in a WWII game for a long time. I don't look at a game for graphics alone myself, that's why I don't play shitty games like MW2 :P.

Absolutely! However, it's a couple of years off at the least.

Trailer didnt say much about the game at all  :-\ what kind of game is it? what game mode does it have? what do you do in it? I just some dudes running and a tank, could have been any game.
If it's another "realistic ww2 simulator shooter" then no thx.

Traction wars looks much better than Iron Front.

Also.... guys & gals FH2 looks really great (see 00:31 of the vid) That part looks really close to Operation goodwood map (Allied base) Take into consideration that it is a 6 year old engine! devs

Cheesy name, first thing I thought while reading this. Graphics are meh, meh, but the gameplay could be very good. Maybe I should re-install ArmA II.. Game always was a bit too much for me.

I must say it's a huge compliment to see that posted here. Thanks on behalf of the team  :P

And it will indeed be a long time before we release a solid product, it's pretty much the same as starting FH2. Everything has to be done.
