That'd be so ridiculous if co-pilot tried to shoot the enemy plane with his pistol in FH2. Just try to imagine that kind of situation and you'll see how ridiculous that is when you think of how accurate (range 50m) and how effective the pistol is in the game, also think of fast flying planes with decent armor against handheld weapons. As it was said it seems more like WW1 but still damn that makes my day on these forums.  ;D

You want some news? I got some (bad) news for you: no news. The pleasure was all mine.  ;D

I can already see us waiting for the Eastern front an extra year according to these statements.  ;D

And Kuuperi: you are mixing things up. You don't have to play on 762 and you don't have to play alone. But it takes some effort to reach this and that's the difficult part.

But technically I have to play on 762 or leave FH2. Every time I'm going to the server that has players and decent ping like I said I'm not into 5 vs. 5 matches on my previous message. No matter how long I wait alone a server wouldn't reach 64 players and 50 players is pretty much the mininum when it's still fun to play. No other server but 762 can provide this today due to the small community.

As long as the majority of players think it's okay to spend time on  [762], then we have done it right.
People do vote with their feet. Last post from me in this thread. Good evening.

Sweet dreams ;) The fact that people play on your server nowadays is simply because it is the only one, not because of your admining per se.

Slayer is quite right about this one. I used to play on hslan server all the time before the server died. Then I had to make a decision of two options; move to 762 or uninstall FH2 because I didn't want to play 5 vs. 5 matches.

Besides we all know the FH2 community (especially the amount of public players) is very little it can't afford to fill too many servers so people end up in one server for a better gaming experience. It hasn't that much to do with the 762 server itself. Way bigger community would provide more real computition between the servers. Anyhow this explains the popularity of 762 server today; the community has dryed up and it had to unite to stay alive.

If the aiming with this thing is like aiming with SdKfz 251/1-II "Stuka zu Fuss" I think I'll pass. When you point it at the flagzone it's alright but changing targets it's like mental hell when you are trying to set the coordinates right and it goes way too often too much to the right or left. Wespe is pretty much the only one mobile artillery I like to use sometimes because you can move the main gun a little to the right or left instead of turning the whole vehicle which makes the aiming way easier.

Nice vehicle though. Probably not my cup of tea but will do as a transport.

It's not like every admin would take advantage of their admin rights. However this incident sends a bad message to the playerbase. Every player working as an admin must be awared of the server rules; according to this the tank incident was an intended rule violation by the admin.

I would say the rule should be removed. It seems to cause too much trouble anyway.

Just face it there's nothing to be done, he got away with it already. You probably have no proof to prove him guilty. I'm sure he realized he was breaking the rule and that's why he "silenced" you. You got your nose bleed for his mistake. Anyway in that case whining is not really an excuse to kick someone from the server; you can see whining about waiting in line and other stuff on the chat every day. He just made it up so there was a reason to get rid of you.

So just forget all about it. This is not the first time something like this is happening and certainly not the last time either.

What would it change if there were a few more details here and there? It's still one plane in one map only. It looks just fine and there's nothing that should be changed in that plane.

I've been playing FH2 from the very beginning and I have no plans to go anywhere until the servers get almost empty. I don't think some random custom map would save the mod.

Speaking of FH2 content; nothing else but the official FH2 content is welcomed in my computer. I like the way the maps have some historical background, they're well made and tested. I feel something that isn't in the release I don't also need. So far I've been quite happy of the quality and amount of the official maps even though I totally like few maps from the current release. I'm trying to avoid anything unofficial to the very end.

Yup. It's the Finnish submachinegun. They were manufactured in Tikkakoski.

I tried to gather as much info as I could find about the usage of Swedish Mauser during the Continuation war and the source I found (http://www.jaegerplatoon.net/RIFLES6.htm) says it was used by the Finnish navy, coastal troops and anti-aircraft units back at the home front. I'm not sure did the Swedish volunteers use Mauser during the Continuation war but due to the Finnish voice commands on FH2 there won't be any Swedes around. Anyhow I was just saying what I think of the whole idea about the possibility of bringing the Mauser in and I'm saying it's not its time.

Only the radio voice sounds familiar from FH1 but those shouted commands seem new to me. Are they really from FH1? I guess it's been too long since I played FH1 last time. However sounds very good whoever recorded them.

I dislike the idea a Carcano or Mauser is part of a Finnish kit. I rather see the other Finnish variants of Mosin nagant (M/28 Pystykorva for example) as they were more common in use by the Finns. I don't think there'll be any use for Carcano or Mauser on the frontline battles during the Continuation war (the maps'll base on summer 1943-44 in FH2 if I'm correct). I believe a typical kit a Finnish soldier had included one of those Finnish variants instead.

However I donĀ“t think it should be a priority. The main stuff (Main issue rifles aka Mosin, MGs, Smgs of both sides) should be made first and then the not so common stuff can be put into the game.

I totally agree with Butcher about the fact there are more important things to be created first that is required to get done before the Eastern front can be released.

We do not need all the finnish mosin nagants. Maybe another one like the M28 and that's pretty much it.

I agree. The Finns won't need another rifle if you ask me but I think the devs might have another one already there but we just don't know about it yet.
