i thought we were doomed that round at first, but the team made a good push back and defensive stand towards the end. Good squadleading btw.

Highlight of the week? Seeing two populated FH2 servers, with over 140 players total. I had never seen so many people playing at once. Heck, even Otolikos was there!  :P

The Vinesauce crew did a Battlefield 2 & other games event where they played a bunch of games and mods with the community and guess what? Coolest shit ever, they decided to play FH2 too!

Full stream by Vinny (the headhoncho of Vinesauce) is here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w7wwta8Ok8w

Such a nice surprise and such a joy watching / reading completely brand new players trying out FH2 for the first time and getting absolutely wrecked at it.  ;D

Really epic defence in Cobra today as the germans. The americans didn't make it past the first sector!

Yep, was just there playing as the Americans.  Got some good kills on Panthers and PzIVs, including an epic one with the Sherman 105mm on the back deck of a panther tank (had no idea what the shell drop would be, so fired with a leap and a prayer, and got it the first try.  ;D )

But yeah, all in all, the Germans did incredibly well, kudos to them!

Lol should I keep watching this past about 20 minutes? It's so frustrating!  They don't know anything haha

They actually do start to learn around the 45min-1 hour mark and get better at it.

It is amazing how little they know about World War II, though. Makes you realise the FH2 community is a bit of a bubble of nerds.

Some gems from that stream:
Loads up Pointe du Hoc

"This one is called Mersa Matruh."

and "Apparently the Nazis took over Greece."

Time to revive this one a bit:

Today I experienced a rare feat, at least in my eyes it is a rare feat: the German team won Sidi Bou Zid.

After a usual roundstart with loads of deaths trying to cap Poste de Lessouda, it finally fell after several hundred tickets were already gone. Then Outpost was taken quite soon after, but of course before we could take Sidi Bou Zid the outpost flags were greyed, and sometimes even recapped. While travelling to Sidi I got killed bya Sherman a few times in a row until it's own arty hit it with a "Volltreffer", bye bye Sherman. Nice, now I could safely go to Sidi and try and defend it. Tickets going down, Sidi got recapped by US and then recapped by us again, and all of a sudden I saw the flag go crossed out with just ~5 tickets left on the bleed. Suddenly we were on 965 tickets and the US were bleeding. We lost the Crossroads flag once in a huge attack, but we recapped it while my squad was fighting off US soldiers at Sidi Bou Zid, who were trying to recap that flag in order to win the game. We held them off for a while and then trhe Germans recapped Crossroads never to let it go again.

Really nice job there German team!
