okay so....

1. open tmp.con
2. edit the kits that are loaded in that file
3. save it (using wordpad or notepad)
4. you are good to go

Question: Can I import the models and soldiers from 2.45 to 2.4?

Seeing as how this is purely for singleplayer purposes it shouldnt be that hard.

Barney Style = Just change a line of script here and there and you are done.
Whiskey Tango Style = Use a totally diff file and change a line of script then use a script program to pack the map files. Once packed though, you lose all the files and NO WAY of unpacking it to make changes.

from what he just said, we dont have to use the tmp.con file. That is barney style modding/scripting.

I wish 2.45 would just have kept the 2.4 loading system. I know all the objects in the mod take a while to load but that comes with any other game you come across (i.e. PR)

Well, when i pack the map, how do i go back if i want to make changes? When i pack the map, all files disappear except for staticobjects folder

I still dont know why I need Python to edit things inside the map.....Is there a way to unpack the map I just packed too?

That's greatly appreciated, but Python is a little confusing....

How would I use python to open the .py files?
I try to open with -> and cant find python anywhere after i installed it....

Stubb was correct.

It all has to do with the tmp.con/inc file in the server.zip
I have only done the kits aspect and am working on the factions.
