Well, I think theaters like this can slip in between the cracks eventually...

Work on the major theaters and we naturally get reusable stuff we can use later on... like other built up areas in Holland, during OMG, and the paras which would work well in a Pegasus Bridge map...Or make it a personal project... like Omaha.,.. Just don't SIT ON IT forever, eventually that ship will sail and no matter how obvious it may seem, we wont ever be able to get that period back

But my final word on this? Arnheim, like Omaha, I feel, is a MUST DO eventually... Obscure battles are nice and all, but I think the big famous battles like El Alamein tie the whole mod together, and it worth caring about

Is there gonna be a 2.4 version?

i played the map now, and i must say: good work. but its not hard and a lot of work to makes this trees different, rotate, lower, and change the treesuncolor. imho the map need a new sky and a brighter atmo. for a fanmap nothing to add about statics, weapons and defending positions. nice map

Please, don't say Arnheim. It already sounds german enough as it is. ;-)

But I agree with you and not because I'm dutch and we don't have that much WWII history besides Market Garden. It's simply one of the key operations on the western front (sorry, I don't do "theatres") and it just belongs in FH.  :)
And of course there's more to OMG than just Arnhem. There's Best, Eindhoven, Nijmegen, etc. so it might be worth making the new houses and stuff.

DISCLAIMER:

I would of course think nothing less of FH if it didn't happen, just saying...  ;)

Fingers crossed!

I think all of our mappers (including me) are tired of Normandy and the whole West Front at this point. We have bigger and better ambitions for now.

And we, the people, can only applaud this!

I, for one, even though Arnhem was in my top five favorite maps of FH1, would be much more excited to see naval battles in the mediterranean, the atlantic and the northern see, + battle of britain for FH2... After all, OMG is pretty much like normandy if we look at the gameplay...

Problem is, getting the ships to work ALONE will take 1-2 years
