I don't see them making any more of these maps. Iirc Keren was made by a community member and a few years later was good enough to be turned into an official map. I think a dev had some spare time to make some East African statics.
-Maps featuring French forces/Vichy France/Free French
I could see the French making an apperance, like others have said theres a bit of French stuff in the changelogs and I have a feeling the Devs/ French Hope map makers have been working together to get those maps up to par... I could be wrong tho
the biggest thing would be French player models to do it right.
-Italian/Sicilian Front
seeing as the team is hurting for static modelers right now I don't see this happeneing as it would require alot of new statics. FHT has some good maps for it tho
-Battle of Britain
would be fun, someone made a 4k fan map for it which was a blast. It would need some new planes to make it proper and not many new statics. I don't see the devs going there tho
-Beyond Siegfried line into Germany
Certainly possible and would be easy to do, just need maps
-Maps featuring Polish forces of the West
there are polish vehicle skins in the files right now. would be nice to see a Mt ormel map someday
Would a 1944 polish soldier need new player models, or just new kit geometries/skins?
-Operation Torch
Seems possible, but I think I recall a dev saying that Sidi Bou Zid was the last map featuring africa that was being worked on atm
-Southern France/ Operation Dragoon
That'd be a cool map, just need someone to make it. I have a feeling nobody's working on a map like this tho
-Operation Market Garden
I want to see a Market Garden map sooooo badly. Invasion of Crete style with gliders being spawnable and being able to be flown in
Idk how different Holland statics would be from French statics. Maybe just a few iconic things would need to be made like windmills etc... seems like less work than a whole other front tho
-Naval battles
sadly I don't think we'll see a Rheinuebung in FH2
-More Greece
I think Olympus was a one off that took a good FHT map and made it up to par for pubby play
-Beach landing maps
I'd say Gold Beach is in the works

Idk how many tris this is but for a relatively low poly weapon like this it SHOULD certainly possible to add it to the BF2 engine with relatively ease. Might just need a bit of optimization on the model (or not depending on tri count and how the devs handle performance) Maybe some PS tweaks (idk what texture sheets RO2 uses that are different from the BF2 engine) it would probably also have to be re-setup in a different hierarchy for the BF2 engine. and could probably use the Nebeleihandgranate 42 animations by the looks of it
I've never modeled for RO2 tho so there might be some huge roadblock I'm missing. Would be fun to see this and Kraetzers Pacific models for that ArmA2 mod in FH2 someday
