A variant on that tactic is the "this Bren carrier/APC is empty" tactic, where you switch to seat 4 or something like that and duck down. I have survived several infantry onlsaughts like that, because they simply walked by me.

My APC tactic is to just bail it (so it's empty on the map), but hide under the tracks to shoot people. Only works with the American/British APCs, but at least you can be outside the Purple Heart Box when you earn one . Really works quite well, if people think you're near the APC at all they think you're behind it, and the tracks work well at deflecting bullets. You're quite boned if someone riflenades you though.

I checked that out in game and I'm pretty sure it's from FH1. The skin is the exact same and it certainly doesnt seem ready yet. There's also a sidi bou zid specific skin for it iirc

Wrong. Tiger P is a rival to the Henschel design that became famous as the Tiger we know. After prototype phase it was rejected, but some 90?ish hulls were already complete. So they built TDs out of them, known as both Ferdinand and Elefant.
