I liked the map...  ;D
I'm taking my own freedom
puttin' it in my song
singing loud and strong
proving all day long
I'm takin' my freedom
puttin' it in my stroll
I'll be hop-steppin' y'all
lettin' the joy unfold

I think the aberdeen map needs to be expanded more, since (if it gets added ever again) the FOV has been increased tanks would be able to shoot cross map.

I also liked Aberdeen. I used to drive my PII to the east of the village in the center where all the knocked out tanks are. There I would park and pretend to be a knocked out tank and when those Grants came rolling by I charged them in the side from close distance and finished them of by shooting Pzg40 at the side doors.  ;D

The British heavy tanks could hardly be stopped by the axis Panzers, so almost always allied won this map.

and also you got the infantry job :
" spawn! walk walk walk ...oh you're dead. spawn ! walk walk walk...oh you're dead. I don't think you gonna reach a flag."

this is the truck version :

"spawn ! walk, get in, drive...oh you've been tk/killed."
FH2 Dev (wait seriously ?)

This is nonsense!  ;D
Is this really true?

When I played that map,
I destroyed every allied armour to spot. (well died sometimes)
Including the Matilda.

Was it because there was no planes?

Was this the only non-Axis bias map?

nice tactic!  :) might use it if I start using tanks more often...

Was it because there was no planes?

well, there are scout planes but they cant do anything offensive so....  :-\

Hahah yeah I once managed to fool a Panther by turning my turret sideways and point the barrel downwards, then drove up against some pile of rubble... I took that as an experiment because I wanted to see what would happen. I jumped into the hull MG and pointed the sights at a gap in the hedgerow from where the enemy tanks would come through eventually.

Then the Panther emerged through the gap. He saw me in the midst of the ruins next to a wrecked Panther static... I saw him point at me and I was certain he wasnt fooled. He didnt fire, instead he started moving towards me and then took a left turn, exposing his right side to me. At that moment I jumped into the 1st seat, lifted my gun, turned the turret and started taking aim. By the time I had my sights on his side, the gun was ready and I fired.

The Panther blew up and a moment later the driver told me that he was using the freelook and noticed that my engine deck started to smoke and my turret started turning, he was literally shitting himself but was too slow to turn his turret. Hahaa, funny moments.

Too bad that tactic doesnt work every time. :)

A variant on that tactic is the "this Bren carrier/APC is empty" tactic, where you switch to seat 4 or something like that and duck down. I have survived several infantry onlsaughts like that, because they simply walked by me.
