Land is invisible

I installed the latest patch 2.26 and tried to play FH2.I can join any server but land textures are invisible.Vegitation,sky,background and models can still be seen.

When an explosion effect is trigged nearby my screen would go black until the effect ends.

what's wrong?

My magic eigthball says that your graphics card or your driver is not up to date.
But on the other hand, if I had spies in your house, then I'd be able to give you a better fix.

i believe it's the shader , or else a wrong GFX card driver. We've had members with similar problems befor, but I don't know which of the two it was ...

I have the latest drivers.Will try to change shader model.

Not sure if it's just me, but if I Alt-Tab while the map is loading, the textures are screwy once it finally loads, including invisible ground.  Try not to minimize the game while the map loads.  Of course, this might not be why this is happening for you...

If I remember right I fixed that last time by deleting cache from My Documents, thought can't remember right.
