But not with the tracks installed.
Max speed without tracks was between 105 and 112km/h
Max speed with tracks (like ingame) was between 62 and 65km/h
Practical speed was somewhere between 40 and 50km/h depending on terrain.
So, the speed is sort of correct.

I had so much gold, since I hadn't played for a while, I bought the French-German tanks. I must say, they are AMAZING. Fast and accurate gun, fast tank, and you get about 6-8x the repair cost. And, with all mah gold, I get to convert a lot free experience.

Arty has become useless with the last patch (I say this as an arty player). It's ridiculously difficult to hit anything with arty anymore, it's all about luck nowadays. The other day, I missed four shot in a row on an immobile King Tiger which filled 2/3 of the reticule. I used to get three kills a round, now I struggle to get even one. With huge inaccuracy and next to no splash damage arty is useless, might as well remove it from the game completely.

And arty doesn't cause camping, there's as much camping in non-arty games as there is in those with arty. It's the broken spotting system that encourages camping (the players' attitudes don't help either).

Sorry for the miniature wall of text, but I'm sick of people complaining about arty. Most of the time, also in previous versions, I get killed by enemy tanks (as happens to everyone else) and not arty. It's just part of human nature to only remember those "bad and unfair" deaths more.

Yeah, I heard about the accuracy decrease. I was expecting counterbattery fire in most games, but apparently it's uneconomical to try it without an actual spot on one.

You can do the whole rush for scout exp thing, but if you actually want to help heavies in times of need, shadow them for a bit until they seem to wait and camp (try an guess if the enemy is in a similar position ahead), and go ahead and try to jet out there, run parallel to them with some jukes mixed in and try to jet to safety.

You might spot some things out for your guys to snipe at and with luck, you can survive. I agree that light tanks in big tank fights have little chance to do damage, so scouting is really the only way to go for them. It's a bit depressing in that respect. However, once you hit the T-34 with that chain gun 57mm, it gets lolzy.

OAN:
One thing I'm noticing much more is being spotted (even when stationary) and unable to see advancing enemies (sometimes TDs, sometimes not). It's usually a culprit of the bushes, but it's annoying when you take fire from 4+ tanks and arty almost right in front of you and all you can do is guess based on their tracers.

This is even with lower tier stuff (hetzers, PzIVs, etc.), so some of it is even without someone maxing camo and getting the camo net. It's getting a little crazy.

Accidentally bought a SU85 .. put the 107 on it with free XP and its just awesome ! It goes over 50, is relatively small, super sloped front armor and the gun kicks ass. I can recommend it to anyone having the T-34 and wanting to go for the TD tree too, since its a side research of the T-34

I take it you have a Hummel or GW Panther? Because Russian arties still rape my T9 tanks to shit every single bloody round. If the game kept records, you'd see that no less than 70% of the damage I receive is because of arty. I'm very good at using cover and hills etc so the enemy tanks can't hit me, but there is always some fagtillery around to lob a shell over the tallest mountain and land it on my tank (or missing it and still splash damaging away 500 hp).

I have SU-8 which has a really small splash radius. You have to do a direct hit to damage. Russian arty becomes a rape machine at SU-14 and S-51. For some reason their splash damage is still quite big (same with the top tier arty, object what-ever-it-is).
