Sorry if this is a silly question.
I've never played on any of the CMP content because I'm a SP only type.
In the readme it says: "2. CMP map pack must be installed in /fh2/levels folder"
Does that mean that I also have to download and install the entire CMP in order to play these few that now have SP, or is it enough to simple add the contents of this particular download to my FH2?

we are working on fixes for these issues internally, we will release hotfix in near future to include them  ;)

Glad to hear that!

Unfortunately, Gold Beach crashes after the map has loaded and I try to spawn into the game (Offline COOP). This was a favourite of mine :-(

I like Lebisey, Pointe and, specially, Goodwood and PHL.

Yeah, those are good maps. Operation Cobra is another favourite of mine.  :)

I had the same problem!

Try changing the ai difficulty to 0.4 in your ai folder, aidefault file.
It should look like this aiSettings.setBotSkill 0.40

Shame about those crashes, they're nice maps.

Thanks for the advice about SP vs Coop.
I usually play SP rather than Coop because it's quicker and simpler (laziness!)
However, it occurred to me that the patch may have also updated my aidefault file, and therefore set the ai difficulty too high, hence making them unrealistically accurate.

I found that with this setting aiSettings.setBotSkill 0.40 I was able to get to the last flag on Omaha (but not win).

I like my gameplay challenging, but when the ai are sniping you with an MP40 from 200 metres, something not right!

Which do you think are the best maps for SP?

Love lots of the changes in the patch ... BUT ...

I've had random CTD's in Mount Olympus and Lebisey, two of my favourite SP maps.
Used to play these maps without problems before.

Omaha Beach is now totally unplayable for me in SP.
Neither myself, nor a single bot managed to get to the 1st objective in 20 mins of persistent gameplay.
The German AI were all snipers, and they were even invading the beach and engaging the landing craft .... how realistic is that for D-Day!!!

Capo aiutante does seem wrong, but this was written in 1963, so vocabulary could have changed.

"Il capo aiutante Lupi Giuseppe é autorizzato a pescare dalle ore 2000 alle ore 0200 con N. 3 persone"

In English this would read "Chief assistant Giuseppe Lupi (Giuseppe is his first name, in Italian we write the surname first) is authorised to fish from 20:00h (8 p.m.) to 02:00h (2 a.m.) with 3 people. The capital N. is an abbreviation of numero (number).

but I don't doubt that the large majority plays SP (God knows why).

I play exclusively SP.

In the past I've put 100's of hours into MP on RO2, BFBC2, BF3, and many other games.
TBH, I got sick and tired of playing with or against random idiots on the internet. Got tired of the bunny hopping trolls, the team-killers, the kill-streakers, and, last but not list, the pseudo-operator milsim tough guys that dominate games such as PR.

I'd rather play with AI, if they do stupid stuff at least they've got an excuse ... they're bots!

... and besides, for tactical team-work with real friends I have my milsim style airsoft group.

So please give SP more love, I know of a lot of people who feel just like me, and SP is becoming a real rarity these days. Look at Post Scriptum and Hell Let Loose ... no single player! :-(

Firstly, thanks for the latest update, this mod just keeps getting better, well done!

Okay, so as a single player only guy something that I find to be a real immersion breaker is the way that the bots spend a lot of their time walking backwards. I remember this from BF2, so perhaps it's an engine limitation?

So, is improving bot movement/getting them to walk facing forwards something that has ever been investigated or worked on?
