That wouldnt be good, I assure you. We do need guns that were already on its place in the field.
your argument is invalid I assure you, who told you that mobile paks can't be place on the same place where static guns are now?

I know I could just drive the truck to that specific place and put the Pak right there, but that would cause one team raping the other team's tanks. Simply the enemy wouldnt be able to guess the location of a possible enemy threat. Thats good and bad at the same time. I say it should be balanced. (Ever if we get a towable weapon system) have I made myself clear?  :)

And that's the point, isn't it? You should ambush the enemy tanks like in real life with AT guns, right? Not like we have now - everybody knows after playing a while where each AT gun is, artillerists learn how to destroy each gun by "aiming on a cloud", pilots know where AA guns are located and learn how to shoot behind the game fog...

I played most of the custom nontournament maps and they suck in many ways. In some cases these are gameplay wise issues or basic desing problems (by looking on some maps you can easily see that some mappers didn't even have a good idea when they started) Non logical static placement and lack of details are the most common problems, many bugs, lack of historical accuracy (even if it is possible to get without map specific content like statics and vehicles) balance issues etc, etc. It's hard to write about all maps together - some are made of pure fail and some are quite good, but even the best maps are about 80% finished when you consider amount of work needed to polish them. Small issues mean that devs would need to spent time on bringing them to FH2 quality, no one have time to do so and original mappers usually aren't interested in finishing their maps or just don't cooperate. When it comes to tournament maps, they can be great but only on tournaments where gameplay is completely diffrenet than public play.


Also: I found funny that most of custom map lovers usually play on low details and they bitching about implementing them when they can't even see difference between good quality map and shit (good graphics is one of aspects which make FH2 unique)

If I only looked at graphics aspect I would play BF3... Many custom maps have better gameplay than these which are already in game... If you don't release new maps soon, this mod will die, which already is happening...

Problem is that FH1 had many custom mappacks. FH2 doesnt have any... FH2 has something like ~20 maps where 10 of them are server killers/unplayable and other 10 are simply overplayed. You jump on the server you play the same maps at the same time each day... And when the server reaches the fifth map, it crashes and all "fun" starts from the beginning... In FH1 times you could jump on the server and play different maps EACH evening... People are simply getting quickly bored and stops playing it...

Dodatkowo gramy na serwerze dla 100 graczy, no i na "custom" mapach, czyli takich, których nie zobaczycie w standardowym FH2. Są one o niebo lepsze jeśli chodzi o gameplay niż w normalnym FH2. Więc nie macie co się zastanawiać, tylko rekrutować się!

I voted for:

-Tunis - this is BATTLEFIELD, not Counter Strike
-Invasion of Crete - good idea for the map, but unbalanced
-Ramelle - a map which should have been ever done... Ah, this Tiger rapefest...
-Alam Haifa - one of the worst African maps, spawning in the open field, just to get shot by camping tanks...
-St. Vith - maybe I'm a bit rigurous to put it here, because this map has great potential, but It's completely unbalanced - it's ridiculous that defenders has more tanks than attackers. And really, I thought that Germans have more than 2 tanks attacking Americans... And only 1 wrench with the ammo kit... Sitting in Wespe must be annoying... Now this map is completely unplayable...

I'd also mention:
-Siege of Tobruk - the same issue as Alam Haifa
-Meuse River - I don't like the flag layout - you could give 3 flags (1 with big flagzone in the center) not 5...
-Falaise Pocket- this map is simply too small...
-Brest - this map actually I should have got in that list - this map is too narrow - only 3 ways of attack...
-Op. Hyacint and Mersa - don't make night maps anymore...
-Supercharge  - another narrow map...
