It's finally here...DISCUSS!

This box art, along with one for the PC and PS3 were posted on the official AC facebook page. Also according to their page, a "major announcement" will be coming tomorrow on the official website. I think we all know what that will be.

yea. You can see the faint image of the British flag on the left, and the American flag on the right.

Seems very very interesting theme. I will be following this closely!
I see were you are trying to reach: "how can a 17 year old kid have such a thinking like this? why doesnt he wants to be like normal teens who whana get rich? and his plan actually makes sense, but is too damn revolutionary and good at the same time than is still doubthfull if it works..." - Damaso

Considering that many of the Founding Fathers were Freemasons, and what with franchise's entire premise laid upon conspiracy theories, this is hardly surprising. The only surprise is that the series has (AFAIK) skipped the Cathars entirely.

I was just saying to my sister how I want an assasins creed away from the old times and moved to revolutionary or world war 1. Looks like they heard me :). This could be a very nice setting, and not many games set in this time if any

Am I the only one that doesn't like the assassin's creed series? Now it's turning into another CoD or MoH...

I don't like it as much as Uncharted or GTA or whatnot, but as far as a fun week of play, AC serves it's purpose.

American revolution ?? quite interresting. I was shure it would have been the French Revolution. Can't wait to try it :P

In my opinion yes. The story line is truly epic and I just love the free-roam style gameplay.

Though it is getting all a bit samey imo. I got to the point with Revelations where I was just going through the story and not bothering with any of the side missions/object collecting just so I could complete it (and get on with Skyrim!)

The sequel might still be set there. After all, Part 2 was a three-part game ;)
