What did Daenery actually do?
Nothing. At least in the show things seem to be getting interesting in Qarth.

On the point of missing characters. There are just too many characters to introduce in 10 episodes if they filmed the books ad verbatim. Alot of non book readers already have trouble as is.

I am surprised that doesnt include the bit about Maise (right-handed) insisting on learning the swordfighting scenes left-handed because Arya is a lefty in canon.

I think they had to add more for Dany so showfriends wont forget about her/complain. And I laughed at Dany being in "friendship is magic land" because in ways it is a little true, shes an idealist. But this also implies she is soft, and easily pushed around because of this. Just wait, her story has barely started.

It's too bad they had to age up Sansa for the show, she was 13 or so in the books, so her naive swooning after Joffrey and the ease with which she is manipulated makes a lot more sense. She does seem rather dumb currently cause you expect her age to show more maturity.

They did say Sansa was 13 in the first season, in the first episode I believe.
It's half naked people on boats. That's all.
Here in Finland we call that "summer".

She was 11 at the start of the first book. All of the children are 2 years older in the TV series.

Oh I got that messed up then. Something to do with the two year differnece between the characters and the 2 year age up. It doesnt really make a differece though, the actress is still a 16 year old playing a much younger character.

I definitely prefer it, I would smack HBO if we got an Anakin. I was just explaining my reasoning as to why she seemed "stupid" as a previous post pointed out.

After doing some reading on the different characters on the A Wiki of Ice and Fire I really look forward to a certain little boy with an affection of cats to get in a certain position. Cats!

That last comment is so wrong. It should end with "OP is a fag" like all normal posts.

Bit of a 'jumpy' episode, going from one place to another and back again and to another and back and somewhere else.

Still, pretty good in all. I'm curious to see how they're going to reconcile Jon's and Daenerys's stories with the book.

The two most important characters and they have changed their stories quite a bit... :/

We'll see.

I loved this episode. Curious about what will happen to the bastard though. The situation in Qarth is getting... interesting to say the least and I truly enjoyed Tywin and Arya once again, I keep hoping that Tywin finds out and also that Arya stabs him or something but I also don't want either to happen.
