Aldi is high quality?  I thought it was just a slightly more upmarket Lidl.

Now now, the first thing you see when you drive into southern Poland from Germany is an Aldi store, so it can't be that bad now is it?  ;)

Aldi's are all over Ireland.

So for something happy that happened to me:

1. It is Shark Week, when the Discovery Channel is chock full of tonnes of shows about sharks.  Wonderful!

2. Saturday night I went and got wasted and made out with a bunch of random chicks.  Great!

3. Not so happy, spent half of the rest of Saturday night throwing up in a toilet. Not great.

Hmm, here I experience Lidl as the better Aldi.

Found a bunch of old books on the side of the road, all printed before 1930 including a bible dated 1862. Rather happy with this, was a large bunch, going trough them now. Anyone want a farming guide from 1920 by the Belgian ministry of farming??

What a coincidence. Today I found a farming guide book from 1912 by some company in Stockholm. :P

Today is the anniversary of the Battle of Cannae!  Just thought that was cool. Probably the greatest military victory of all time.

Greatest? No. Pretty neat victory, very nice tactic. But to be the greatest it has to have a positive effect for the victor in the long run. And well.. It didn't.

True, but I was talking about strategy... or tactics?  I get those too mixed up a lot.  Anyway I suppose you're right. Poor old Hannibal.
