I have to say, some of the ported FH1 stuff (?) doesn't look half bad. ;DOn the screenshots, from far a way, yes. I have some pacific theatre content on my HDD and FH1 ports looks terrible to be honest, especially when it comes to handheld weapons. I only hope they are codded well, because visually they're faaar away from FH2 standards. I'm not saying it won't be fun to play with them tho. They can be extremely fun for events but don't expect them in official builds, don't forget that this beta test has nothing to do with FH2 development.

Curious as to who made the content or if it was ported from FH1?Most of it was ported from FH1, and AFAIK most of the exporting/codding was done by Stubbfan. He sent me his work months ago but I see lots of improvement. Good job, it's gonna be fun today! ;D
you almost create the whole pacific theather of bf1942 expect battle of the phillipnes and coral sea missing out but still awesome job!
I noticed a problem with the shermans spawning on the beachhead. It was impossible to climb even the smallest hill with them. You couldn't get out from the beachhead.On Iwo Jima, right? I saw a Sherman slide over the beach like it was in quicksand. There must be something wrong with the ground material there.

Guadalcnal screems for being either a nightmap or a map with heavy rain. Or better: a nightmap with heavy rain.
Some issues i found while playing:
- When you are sitting in one of the gunner positions of the japanese troop transport vehicle HA HO and look to the rear, the whole back end of the vehicle is invisible
- You can't enter ships or submarines, when you are swimming in the water around it
- You always die, trying to bail out of a moving vessel
- When you are swimming next to the hull of the HMS PRINC OF WALES, you can look through it
- On some maps the japanese flag looks like the present day flag with the red disc in the middle, on Midway it looks like in WWII with the additional red rays
- The YAMATO and PRINCE OF WALES aren't historical correct on Midway, espacially the PRINCE OF WALES, because it's even no US-Ship
- On some ships shooting animations or/and sounds of several guns/weapons are missing
AFAIK the ships damaging soldiers on them can't be fixed. It is the reason why there aren't any official naval maps.

Wake Island and Midway are such iconic maps and the Air + Naval Gameplay is what made the Battlefield series stand out from and is still not matched by any other game.
I would be happy if we could get them integrated into FH2, better sooner then later.
Tbh, I'd take the 0.7 Midway any day over the BF42 Midway.

That is something you also find in regular FH. You need to open your parachute early enough, if you don't, you will die or atleast be wounded. This is to prevent people from only open the chute like 5m before the ground.

guys there is some issues i found with the pacific maps sometimes it randomly crashes to desktop (without error popping up or causes a punkbuster kick while my friend can play it without problems on the laptop any idea whats causeing it?

We are aware of the crashes and are fixing that issue.
The PB kick is a WaW server thing. You need to update your punkbuster to stay on.
Whats the point of keeping PB running when it only checks bf2 files?
I couldn't be part of the beta test...so, how did the map(s) work out? Did the ships work? How was "the Feeling"? :D
