Is there any operation by the Americans in north africa that has a bear in its name or something like this?
Or may be a Brummbär for Bulge maps, though I dont think that vehicle would be useful ingame.

Because the model is made by Rad and Lobo. And the wolverine in-game made by Rad has a small teddy bear on it, being somewhat of a signature by the late-Rad. So basically it's made by "Rad the bear", so to say.

edit: never mind, just realised this must've been lend-lease so the amis did all the painting (explains those sharkteeth as well).

And its definitely nice to see the lendlease program airborne.

Beautiful model and texture jobs on the plane. Man look at the rivet details on the wings and fuselage. O_O
I do love WWII Americans and their tendency to stick as many .50 cal mgs as the can into everything with wings. : P

My guess is that this is just an updated FH1 model. Hence why 4 different people worked on it. This could have been made 5 years ago. Somebody just took it out and made it to FH2 standards.

The Youtube video says the P40 was found in the wali al jadid desert, which is in the south west of Egypt, not near the World War 2 battlefields. It depends how close to the Nile it crashed, but it seems to me, this one got lost and crashed in the middle of no where.

Pre 2.4 there was a certain bottleneck in vehicle exporting. Htat was solved when stubbfan joined the team and kev learned exporting.

Pre 2.4 there was arguably also less drive to develop aircraft for the mod, at least from my persepective.
When Stubbfan and Kev4000 combined their forces to create an overhauled flying physics experience that new inspiration was descovered to help flesh out the Forgotten Hope airforces. hence the record amount of new wings for the next patch :)
And just a side note, As well as exporting and coding, the P-40 was textured almost entirely by Stubbfan
In otherwords you can thank him for bringing this vehicle to the light ;)

Fact.
Some people claim it is because both the British and the Americans flew the aircraft during the war (U.S. manufacture and sent to the U.K. through the Lend-Lease program). But what can be more confusing than being a German soldier stationed in Libya fighting the British in early 1942 when there's an American marked plane strafing you? I'd just call schenanigans, and surrender immediately.

Individual pilots from the 57th FG were the first USAAF P-40 pilots to see action in the MTO, while attached to Desert Air Force Kittyhawk squadrons, from July 1942.
Probably one of these planes.
Also, the British (and Soviets) called the P-40 until C variant "Tomahawk", from D onwards "Kittyhawk". Warhawk was the US name.
