that's just the new customizable hud.
to change what and how it shows, you go into the FH2 launcher --> settings --> HUD
you can even change where it shows server messages

Did you two try a repair via the launcher? I predownloaded too, pushed the files in the FH2 folder as I use standalone, and then hit repair, then it downloaded 10 MB and my installation works completely fine, have played a few coop maps yesterday and everything works fine

This is a good question I also always wondered about. That they included kind of a failsafe for infantry, but not for tanks... I think not even the devs know either, but you might want to ask in the discord about it as it is more popular.

First, if you just set Bot ratio ingame to 100, and set 48 bots in the next slider, then you will always get those 48 bots for axis team. The rest of the 100 bots goes to allied team. That is why I personally always play with 96 bots, so you have an equal number in both teams. I don't know how to get more bots myself, as I never really needed more

Second, You may want to look into the Forgotten Hope 2 Discord. It is far more populated, people there might help you further with getting more than 96 bots in equal teams.

Why don't have have it hidden on default? Since we don't have a crosshair, why not just take it further more to not knowing if you made a kill?

Because this is no military simulation. It is part of the fun to know when you made a kill or not, also it is helpful to know if you just wounded your enemy or killed him.

It is midway between fun and realism. This way you can optimize the game to your liking and others who want hud elements for example or want kill messages keep them.

Not yet, the devs are working on a hotfix though. until then you have to use the older version of the launcher sadly.

studienka 64 coop crashes 5 or 10 minutes into the round, it seems to be a problem with the bots at the Studienka village flag, I tested it from german side and the soviet side once, and it crashed both times looking towards that flag.

Ok, I forgot to say that the problem is with the coop 32 version. Singleplayer and Conquest indeed work fine.

I already did that, it only downloads the new launcher with some 6 MB but the motovskiy folder has the exact same file size as before and it still crashes just like before.

Thanks for the fast answer.
I did a clean install with the new version. Then I noticed you can set it to include checking for cmp updates too, I did that and then the launcher chrashed every time after checking for updates.

After that, I installed the now old 2.55 Launcher from the website again, but didnĀ“t change anything else. I could play on the public server, I could play the campaign and all coop stuff too. Only Motovskiy 32 crashed while loading in the objects stage, so I concluded it must be a problem with the objects in that version of the map.
I mean, how could an older launcher cause a problem with only one layer of a map?

The 32p version of Motovskiy Bay always crashes to desktop while loading, at around 15% in the object phase without any message in windowed mode. the 16 and 64 versions work though.

Even after the patch of first of July, the soviets still have spawns at the two hedgerows with stones and a tree trunk in front of the 53. Guards Tank Brigade flag when the germans capped it. Most of the time they get ignored by german tanks already at the guards flag and pose a major problem.

I hope this gets fixed, otherwise the map is really cool (I think the AT-guns and MGs at the flag respawn too fast, but that might just be me ;))
