Yeah, STALKER is filled with weird stuff, but funny indeed.

:| grüß gott: Oh nice
:| grüß gott: I just started to play Clear Sky with the Complete addon
:| grüß gott: first round playing this one
:| grüß gott: Was walking around with a Clear Sky member when we hear weird noises, I see glowing eyes run at him and immedietly started to run away, I could hear his screams at the bloodsucker murdered him with it's claws
:| grüß gott: There was definitely an audible "oh SHIT, FUCK this NOISE"
:| grüß gott: now I've run away deeper into the swamp
:| grüß gott: I hope it isn't chasing me, because if it is, I am going to get my ass handed to me

Talking to Ajappat. Still running away, havn't checked if it has followed me or not. I can recognize those eyes anywhere

Looks awesome

I hope somebody exports Arsenal's weapons to LA and some better sounds/textures wouldn't hurt.

I'm probably a little late to this but if you're going to try out a Stalker game, don't use Complete.  It really is not vanilla anymore with it and actually makes the game much easier/casual.  Try Zone Reclamation Project(fixes bugs), absolute nature+structure(improved textures), shaders max, and weather overhaul to keep it as vanilla as possible for a first play through while also improving graphics.  For the 2nd playthrough you can try AMK or something to make the 2nd time different/more interesting.

Stalker is probably one of the best PC games out there and should really be experienced the way it was mean to be.

Edit:  I actually found out a lot of what I know about these mods in 4chan's /VG/, there's almost always a thread on the first page with lots of hardcore fans there and they've written several guides too.

The bests mods are indeed Russian, they lack translations but they're fucking awesome.

Fortunely we got stuff like STALKERSOUP, hardcore fans of STALKER will love this one, it's damn intense and its massive.

Game fucking wanna makes me stay in a safe place for the night, damn punishing, no geiger counter, no anomaly detector, no radiation protection, ammo is like gold, a good gun is like diamonds, everything looks dark, depressed, get shot and you're most likely dead, get caught by a bloodsucker and you will be his breakfast, find a chimera and you're his dinner, etc.

There's also a bunch of anomalies one doesn't know how they work, and some are too hard to see!, from nowhere BAM, a tornado or some weird looking plant coming out of nowhere kills you.

I don't know how large the game is actually, like how many missions does it have, but i started a long time ago and I'm still trying to find decent weaponry for the Agroprom Underground mission :/

I've heard STALKERSOUP has too much of everything and does not fit the atmosphere. Plus, it is really buggy.

STALKERSOUP has a lot of variety, some are just useless crap but, it adds a lot of new content to the zone, i like that.

Howerver, it's less buggy than CoP ---> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=imoMRuVYMFM

Hmm, looks good but it misses the feeling for me somehow. Well, I have only seen some screenshots so far and it will be completely differnt to acutally play it.
I am looking for Lost Alpha and Misery 2. These two seem like solid work. I can't stand when fix don't together.
