As I was pulling into the high school I attend a white car pulled out in front of me, without slowing down or using his fucking blinkers. I had to turn even harder than I was to avoid hitting the car. I spun out, and had to walk a mile and a half back home. My leg and my arm are nice juicy hamburger meat now. I wasn't able to make out the license plate as I was on the ground and they sped away without stopping to help.
When I got home, I dumped my (now wrecked) bike back, washed it off so all the raw skin was exposed to the air, then I walked down to the elementary school to set up an appointment for a class field trip to the local history museum, frightened the little old secretaries, finished, walked back home, where I applied bandages and ointment.
It was a nice bike, a Huffy Arlington.
Now the seat is broken, the pedal's broken (if my foot was elsewhere, the pedal shaft would have punctured my leg), and I think the rims are bent.
So, in conclusion: Always use your motherfucking blinkers. Thank you.
