A W.I.P. about soldiers dropping their kit weapons on death
One or more of the dropped weapons can also be coded to be a pickup kit as well

I dont think it looks good having the weapons fly around like that when a guy gets shot. It looks like he is a pinĂ£ta or something

I also dont see the purpose unless players can pick up these individual weapons, thus creating his own custom kit from weapons he picks. (Even that would be annoying and too timeconsuming, having players trying to aim and grab one of all these small items, this is why DICE use kits instead of the L4D way of combining your chosen stuff)

But I guess this wasn't intended for playing anyway so...  8)

In BF2 alpha version the soldiers dropped their weapon when they died and it looked good and much more realistic like it is in FH.

http://www.moddb.com/mods/alpha-project2/news/1p-hands-arms-and-dropkits They have it, that mod looks really nice.

I think only weapon should fall like that.
Rest of the stuff is in pockets etc. so mines and grenades wouldn't fly around like that when soldier falls to the ground.

Natty, get your tongue out of CEO of DICE's ass. Nothing is good enough except if they made it, isn't it?

Anyways, dropping weapons was one of the things I liked in the trailer of BF2. But in the game a giant bag fell down with a silly icon on it.
"Force answers force, war breeds war, and death only brings death.
To break this vicious circle one must do more than act without thought or doubt."
