And yes, Ramelle is fictionnal, but many maps in FH2 are... They just have real names but that's all! Do you think operation Cobra looks like a real map?
And at last, Ramelle is fictionnal, but was inspired by the city of La Fiere and its causeway over the Merderet river...

The devs take efforts for almost every map to be accurate, analysing maps etc of the operation. From the evidence I've seen (that the devs have posted, real pictures of the battlefields) I'd say most are NOT fictional, most are real.
Don't know about cobra, haven't played that one yet. But I've seen pictures, and I believe you are wrong. Cobra looks like it did in real life.
Oh my god... That looks almost exactly like the actual in game map :O

And he had but a measly 75mm, but he killed me with one shot front-on, what is this devilry!?

that marder is always more deadly than you think when there are no AT rifles.
But a fuck load of panzerfausts
. But happily, i've found the Churchill can take 3 faust shots b4 being killed, but that's front on and sides :O
