Sniper Tree

Could we get a tree which we can press e and enter and be like the back of a tank so we can snipe from Tree's :P

Also, how commonplace was this actually? At least the legend of "Kukusha" (cuckoo) as told by the Red Army during Winter War about Finnish snipers hiding in trees was in reality just trees snapping, crackling and popping due to frost.

Even if this would have been attempted in reality, sniping from a tree is kinda suicidal because once you (the sniper) are spotted, getting the hell out of Dodge may be a bit problematic. And even getting up there is difficult. Plus you are on a platform that swings in the wind and leaves and branches occasionally block your vision.

I've only heard of this in the Pacific, Japanese snipers in palm trees. But I'm sure other nations did it too.

I've heard of two accounts of this happening. One was in Harry Järv's memoirs, where a Russian sniper regularly fires from a tree at a Finnish outpost. Framom främsta linjen/Etulinjan edessä is based on Järv's memoirs.

The other one is Carwood Lipton in Band of Brothers. According to this Lipton climbed a tree to fire upon some Germans. Might not be 100% accurate, though. BoB seems to have its fair share of inaccuracies. Supposedly, this is based on Winter's memoirs.

I'm sure I've read (or seen on youtube) an account in which a female Russian sniper shot a German sniper out of a tree (he hit her as well, cracking her jaw).

I think some trees that you could theoretically jump around on and get to the top is a good idea, actually.

I don't think this would be a good idea, because then you'd have MG42 firing from small tree tops. And before anyone says you can just tell FH2 to not let MG42 gunners into those vehicles, its not possible in FH2. It would be like how you can fire an MG42 from sitting on the back of the tank.
