I would add to this guide the fact that LCA doors can/have to be opened in order to leave the boat (with up and down arrows). I've seen many guys just beaching their LCA and randomly jumping out of it. It kills a bit of immersion...

But everyone know that from Battlefield 1942  :P .

Either way, I give the OP four grappling hooks out of five!

One grappling hook retracted for a couple of typos and grammatical errors.

Also, a spawnpoint appears on top of the cliffs after a while.

Either way, it's content that counts, not grammar and typos  ;) .

I don't know if anyone has noticed, but there are three unmarked flags at the top of the cliff that only the US can capture.  Once they do, spawns appear on the beach for them, so they don't have to rely on the LCAs anymore.  There is also the eastern spawn that appears after some time.

There is at least one spot, closer to the western edge of the map, where a German can walk up to the edge of the cliff and fire a rifle grenade onto the heads of the poor Rangers trying to climb. Was one of the four unfortunates to get hit. Surely enough, having read that the cliff is out of bounds, we thought that the Kraut was shot for desertion, and ran for the same spot in the cliff to fire the grappling hook. Of course, the German was alive and well and fired a second rifle grenade...

Even when we had destroyed the 4 guns and capped the flags and were hunting down the last enemies some guys still spawn back at the beach just to have the flamer heh heh! Just too much fun to leave behind eh!?! ;)

I spawn at the back just for the Winchester. That's one awesome weapon.

Love to climb up the far right side of the map near the bunker and blast away some Germans with it. Never see it coming. They're usually too busy firing at the infantry below. More often than not I get 3 - 4 kills with it before they pick me off.

Such a nice change from WaW, CoD4 and vBF2 shotguns. Fantastic reload and sound animations as well.

Thanks buddy! Finally understood it! I played it in single player mode. It was awesome and immersive! I can't even imagine this map in multiplayer.

Whenever I play PDH on Singleplayer, there's only about 8 -12 players on each team(don't remember the exact number), even though it says 64.

Take a look at this thread http://fhpubforum.warumdarum.de/index.php?topic=1871.0. Here you will find what you need to do for more then 16 players.
